A few questions from a first-time DCL cruiser!

Cups are provided at the drinks stations, in fact if a CM is nearby, they will ask you to fill your mugs with the provided cups (to help prevent the spread of communicable diseases, its a big deal onboard the ship). So, if you want DCL mugs, use the provided cups until the stores open.

Tours with hacienda taquilera in Cozumel

Yes, they have fruit juice and a pinata for the kids. They don't actually make tequila onsite, just a couple of displays of the process.

    Alaska Dog Sledding Question

From the Dog Sled & Flightseeing excursion website: "Guests weighing 250 pounds or more, with all clothing and camera equipment, are required to purchase an additional half-seat at the time of booking" The usher Camp excursion does not list a weight limit.

    Costa Maya Excusions now posted

Disney has posted a list of excursions for Costa Maya. The Mayan ruins at Kohunlich is far enough away that I doubt too many sailings will be in port long enough to allow a visit, but it looks like Chacchoben will be a regular offering.

Yet ANOTHER Reason I LOVE DCL - So angry at NCL right now!

Five years ago, this week, we took my folks and my wife's folks on a Holland American Alaskan cruise. We only had one day of light rain, no heavy seas, and when we went into Glacier Bay, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Pretty much every person in the ports and every crew-member we ran across...

    Remy Menu

The menu on the DCL site is the old one. There's a pic of the new menu at http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=41659438&postcount=26 Although it's hard to read. I think someone else posted a different pic, but a quick search didn't turn up any hits.

    Flying Fish back to Epcot

This past April, we had 7:05 reservations at the Flying and made it back to EPCOT to catch Illuminations, with about 10 minutes to spare. We did skip dessert, though, and the choice viewing spots were gone.

Talk on board Magic during Med Cruise..... Venice 2013

We did a 7 night from Venice on Costa a few years back. Frankly, it felt a bit rushed. I believe we did Satorini & Mykonos on the same day. The two islands aren't too far from one another, but I would have liked to stay on Satorini a little longer. I wouldn't sail Costa again though...

a good meal at orlando airport??

There's a Macaroni Grill in the airport which is OK. I've never tried it, but the Hemisphere Steak & Seafood house at the Hyatt has some decent reviews. Otherwise, there's Chili's, Fox Sports Pub, and a bunch of fast food restaurants.

First time cruise - need opinions on cabins and excursions

While you can sit on deck and watch the sea, I tend to prefer the privacy of sitting on a veranda. Of course the down side is, waiters aren't coming by to see if you'd like another drink. If you want to skip the excursions, you shouldn't have any troouble catching a cab to a nearby beach...

    date night restaurants?

I'd throw Artist's Point into the mix. It's not nearly as crowded and noisy as CG. Jiko is also a intimate setting.
