    Ruth's Chris ???

I adore it, but it's for certain a super special occasion place for us because of the price.

ALDI, please tell me about them. What are your favorites?

I love their prices on canned tomatoes and beans, tortilla chips, pretzels, spices, Sucralose (packets and granules), oatmeal, and kid snacks. I try to go in about once a month and stock up on those things. I will say, don't bother with their version of Velveeta. It's horrendous.

    Anyone drive 95 corridor recently?

I drive from Baltimore to DC every weekday. No construction through here, but there's always plenty of traffic!

How often do you see your grandchildren? Let us know if it’s on FaceTime/skype more

My mom is gone, but my children see their paternal grandparents 2-3 times per year. We FaceTime weekly. We've never lived any closer than an 8 hour drive from them, and currently we live about 15 hours away. We almost exclusively visit them, as apparently it's "easier" for my family of 5 to...

    Work Lunches

We have a microwave issue at work, so I bought one of these little guys... https://www.crock-pot.com/collections/lunch-crock/crock-pot-lunch-crock-food-warmer/SCCPLC200-MASTER.html?dwvar_SCCPLC200-MASTER_color=pink Actually, I bought three since they were on sale for 3/$33. Love them, and I...

Cell phone - how old was your child when they got their first one?

Ten. We don't have a landline and she and her younger sisters get home a few minutes before me.

    Spinoff: Favorite Airport?

I haven't flown through Memphis in some years, but I do remember it being terrible. It's so dark and depressing!

    Spinoff: Favorite Airport?

I'm a weirdo, but I love airports in general. I have a mean travel bug! I suppose I'll go with the one I know best... ATL. You can literally get anywhere from there, and I know that airport inside and out since it was my home airport for so many years. However, I now live a mere 10 minutes from...

    23andMe

I feel this way about Facebook quizzes and the like. Data mining is big business, and we're not wrong to be a little paranoid.

    Problems at MCO

Nice try, but I'm certain you already know what I meant: experience with depression so severe you considered taking your own life. Unless and until you've ever felt that way, you have no right to judge.

    Problems at MCO

It's so easy to make judgements about something you've never had experience with. I wish all could be so privileged.

    Another perfume vent

I have an aversion to vanilla scents that I discovered just after Vanilla Fields came out. I was working in a grocery store and a lady came through my line wearing it. It smelled great, but about half an hour later I had to have someone drive me home due to a blinding migraine. It happened a few...

What do you miss about your home country when you go abroad?

When I lived in France for two years, I missed Mexican food and American breakfast food (bacon, pancakes, sausage) the most. That was pretty much it, honestly. I soaked up as much culture as I could and went into it with a spirit of adventure. Soon as I landed back in the US though, I beat a...

Any advice for being left photo ID-less in France?

Well if she's just wanting to get a drink in France, she won't need ID. Can't speak for London, but there's an entirely different attitude towards that type of thing in Europe in general.

Any advice for being left photo ID-less in France?

Was going to say the same thing. My family held carte de séjour, but our American babysitters always just carried their passports. Honestly, it's easier to replace those than a foreign driving license while abroad.
