As of 1st July, when using data abroad, o2 will text you when you've spent £20 then £40 on data, and cap it at 50MB for pay monthly customers. When I visit in July I'll probably switch data on occasionally, but once I hit £20 I'll probably stop using it/really limit myself.

I'm thinking I might just turn email notifications off, as the majority coming through to gmail are the blank ones. Strange!

I'm having this problem too.. I think they are being send instead of an email notification in some cases (as a thread will have been updated but I will just get the blank email). Strange..
