    CBR buses?

We stayed at CBR last June (mid June) and busses for the most part were pretty good. More crowded later in the day we noticed, but we started VERY early in the AM. We were in Jamaica and was the first or second stop so usually no problems. Last 2 days of the trip crowds were larger & busses...

    Pop Century vs Caribbean Beach

We stayed at CBR last June (mid-June) and it was great. Cons: slow check in, occaisionally slow busses, no eleveators, far from main food court. Pros: We were close to a bus stop, beautiful grounds, cool pool, we were by the first bus stop, quiet & not congested, good selection at food court...

Do the milkshakes count for beverage

I can't speak for resorts or other restaurants but at Sci-Fi the shakes were counted as beverage, and my kids & hubby loved it! Plus they still got their dessert on top if it with the dining plan. I had a diet coke & wished I'd gotten the shake! However, my dessert hot fudge sundae was out...

What TS restaurant surprised you but in a good way?

I hadn't been all that jazzed to eat at Liberty Tree Tavern, but was our second favorite meal of our trip last year. The gravy was to die for! Also the Sci-fi got bad reviews but the atmosphere & food were terrific!

    Liberty Tree Tavern ?

Initially I was not all that jazzed to go there, but was pleasantly surprised. The 2nd fave meal of our trip (June 2009). YUMMY! Basically they bring you everything on the menu. The gravy is out of this world!! It's like a large Thansgiving meal (carved turkey, beef, pork...mashed...

    Trail's End or elsewhere?

We ABSOLUTELY loved the boat ride from MK to Ft. Wilderness...it was a nice way to cool off & wind down before dinner at Trails end. The buffet was awesome. The best fried chicken EVER! The au gratin potatoes were great. The carved beef/strip steak was amazing too. Also had a fun...

    The Unofficial Guide

When does the "Unofficial Guide" usually come out? I bought our 2009 one in Jan 2009 for our June 2009 trip. Now I'm planning further out. We are planning for June 2011 and want to use the 2011 Guide when it comes out. Of course I am sooo excited to get it hot off the press!

New here -- HELP! Is there a "WDW for Dummies" area?

I totally understand how your feeling! Our family went in June 2009 and we started planning in December. You have plenty of time if you're going May 2011! I would suggest starting by ordering the free WDW video, we watched it a few times & got really excited. Next, I would purchase the...

    Lanyards w/CC "Pocket"

I got lanyards at Officemax. Had a clear front pouch plus a zip compartment. Worked really slick, however not the most fashionable. We usually tucked them under our shirt for pictures.

    Le Cellier Reservations

Excellent advice, I didn't realize this. When we went last year, the ADR's could only be booked out 90 days +10. We got LeCellier for our 1st day. Next time (June 2011) I will def try the +10 for the harder to get ADR's. Cool!!

The Plaza, Crystal Palace or LTT for dinner arrival night?

I've never eaten at Crystal Palace or the Plaza...so I would vote LTT. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I really hadn't been all that jazzed about it until we ate there. The food was INcredible, our 2nd fave of the whole trip (june 2009). The gravy is yummy! The roast beef is...

    Le Cellier Reservations

We lucked out and got 4:30 dinner reservations at LeCellier in June 2009. I got up early on the very first day I could make reservations and called as soon as the phone lines opened. It was well worth it!! LeCellier was my fave meal our entire trip. I highly recommend the Filet Mignon with...

    First Day question

I would not try to go to the parks on the arrival day, here's why: June 2009-We made the mistake of trying to do too much on our arrival day, and we paid the price a couple days later (exhausted). We took a red-eye flight so we got no sleep, arrived at 10 AM and took ME to our resort...

    When does Disney expect payment?

yep 45 days prior to arrival if you have a package. I loved that there was only a $200 deposit...we paid a little at a time, kinda like lay-away. It worked great for our June 2009 trip. We are planning another trip for June 2011. Can't wait!:cool1:
