    For you retirement gurus..

Anytime I leave a job, I roll my 401k in to a Rollover IRA I set up at Vanguard. A 457b should be no different per the IRS.

I love credit cards so much!

Thought someone here may find this useful... I made a payment of $300 to Vacation Strategy for our May 2017 Wyndham Bonnet Creek reservation, and it counted as travel for the CSR. I received a $300 travel credit back right away, and I get to do it again in January!

Are you more interested in straight cash back, or travel rewards?

    Credit Card Strategies (Churn/MS/Points!)

Yeah, reading up on Serve now. Had 2 Bluebirds before, but switched 1 to Redbird. Looking into the pros and cons of the different types.

    Undercover Tourist-Amex Credit

I don't have a trip planned until 2017, but I could buy tickets and they would still be good, right? Planning on staying offsite, so not worried about a package deal coming out at that time.

    Undercover Tourist-Amex Credit

Just checked my Amex offers and saw that they have one for $30 off $150 a purchase from Undercover Tourist. The offer is good until 12/31/15. Nice 20% discount on top of their already discounted prices.

    Weekly Money Saving Accomplishments

My husband, cousin (lives with us), and I joined a Dietbet game where we have to lose 4% of our body weight in 1 month. At the end of the month, everyone who met the goal will get to split the pot. While I had to pay $30 to get in, we have saved WAY more than that already by eating healthier and...

Barclaycard - can't redeem Disney tickets

Saw it on The Points Guy's blog. I didn't give much thought to the citing because I'll be downgrading or cancelling when my annual fee comes due anyway. Bummed about the changes :(

    Tips on becoming a saver?

The thing I tell people who ask me for help with their spending is to track it for a month. Sometimes seeing how much is going into certain categories is a wake-up call. It also helps to create a realistic budget. For example, my husband and I have one weakness in our spending, and that is...

Barclaycard - can't redeem Disney tickets

Yes, my husband dropped down to the no annual fee card and his account still shows unused points. "These changes will go into effect in November for cardholders who got the card before Sept. 30, 2014, and in August 2016 for cardholders who got the card on or after Oct. 1, 2014."

Credit card with the best benefits/rewards

Chase Freedom is doing their promo for $200 if you sign up and spend $500 in 3 months, plus a 0% APR for 15 months. The Freedom does the rotating categories that give you 5% cash back. Just another suggestion, but others have thrown out some viable options too.

    Credit Card Strategies (Churn/MS/Points!)

There is a round-about way to do this. I'd suggest doing a google search for 'bluebird to pay tuition'. There are other tools besides Bluebird, but it should give you the basic rundown of what would be required.

    Credit Card Strategies (Churn/MS/Points!)

FYI, reading about a possible demise of the debit card load to RB beginning May 16th. Hope it isn't true!

    Credit Card Strategies (Churn/MS/Points!)

Bluebird doesn't, unless I've missed some new development. I'm glad the debit seems to still be working. I haven't had any push back at my Target when loading, so I'll happily go there rather than the always broken Kate at my Walmart. I'm not counting this one as dead yet, just not as awesome.

Going tonight also. Hoping if cc's stop that the debit card option will still be working. I'd much rather go to Target than Walmart!
