I forgot about the ice cube tray! The first time we made ice in and twisted it to get the ice out, it broke into 3 pieces! The plastic was too hard and stiff. :(
I bought a black pressed-foam Mickey head keychain (they come in lots of colors and designs) and the head fell off somewhere the first time I used it. It was only a few dollars, but I loved it and was very sad I lost it. Also, my daughter had some 3D princess charms on her bracelet and I guess...
Where do I edit my signature? I have an old ticker I created 2 years ago that automatically shows up, but I can't for the life of me remember where I created the signature! I have a new ticker I want to add, but can't figure out where...
<bump> I'd like to see some more recommendations for good places to eat around DL as well. We'll be there in July. We're staying across the street, so walking distance would be great. We will have a rental car as well, but will only go away from DL a couple of days while we're there.
To go along with this and save even more, they will give you free ice water and you can bring your own single serve flavor packets (about $2 for 10). A fountain drink will run you about $3, so this will save you a ton. We are going in July and this is how we plan to save some money to spend on...
That's a great idea! My DS(10) is infatuated with Sharks, so I know he would love to see the Shark Encounter. I still haven't worked out our whole vacation schedule besides the days we will be at DL, so maybe we can work in a half day at Sea World and a half day at the beach or something. Thanks...
I visited the CityPASS website today and you can now add the zoo to your CityPASS as an upgrade. Hooray!

Actually, you can upgrade to include the Zoo if you wish. The option is only available on the CityPass.com website.

Thanks! That is just what I needed. We used to have a "Pets Rule!" type of show- very cute but they don't have it anymore in SA. The Sea Lions are entertaining, but I really don't need to see another show like that. Sounds like the parks are similar enough that maybe we should just spend our day...
Were they using the plastic CityPass card in 2010? If so, did they just add days to your DL tickets on the card, or issue you additional tickets?
Thanks!
We live in Texas and visit Sea World in San Antonio about once a year. We are planning a trip to CA this summer and will probably buy the CityPass. It includes a Sea World admission and I was wondering if there is a big difference between the Sea World here and the Sea World there? Has anyone...
The only upgrade mentioned on the CityPass website is at Universal Studios- it says you can upgrade to a Front of the Line Pass. There is nothing about upgrading at Disneyland.
I am asking if anyone has actual experience doing it- I, too, have heard rumors that you can do it, but I'm looking...
Our family is going to DL for the first time this summer and we are looking at doing several SoCal attractions, so the CityPass looks to be the best deal for us. The CityPass includes a 3-Day park hopper, but I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to 4 days? The only thread I could find...
What are the best things to do on Castaway Key if the weather isn't warm? I'm glad I didn't have my heart set on being at the beach in Nassau!
I have been wondering about this topic myself. We are cruising in just over a week and everything I've read says that kids will only be allowed to "move up" to an older club if they are close to their birthday. Well, my daughter turned 12 in October, but she skipped a grade so she is in the 7th...
I have a question about shoes- when I am on vacation (and even when I'm at home) I live in flip flops and tennis shoes (if it's cold). If I wear a casual dress to dinner, do you think it's okay to wear *nice* flip flops (no cheap-o plastic ones)? We are doing land and sea and have to pay for...
Thanks for posting this. We are cruising on the 12th and I want to let my husband know he will NOT be using his cell phone during the trip! I can't remember the last time I saw him without it, so it will truly be a vacation from our every day lives! Can't wait!:cool1:
This will be our first time cruising with our kids, and our first time on DCL, so I was wondering about peoples experiences with allowing their kids to sign themselves in and out of the kids clubs. We have a 12 year-old and a 9 year-old. I am not at all worried about the 12 year-old, as she is...
I agree with this one. The spinning isn't what keeps our family from riding again, it was getting slammed against the sides of the car when we got to the end of each row. All 4 of us were happy to get off, and said we didn't think we'd be riding it again (and we never have). :sad2:
I'll tell you what we are doing. We are flying into MCO the day before our cruise and renting a car (Budget $56 for one day using promo codes found on the Internet). We are staying at the Country Inn and Suites in Port Canaveral the night before and will use the rental car to go out to eat, go...
