What are the advantages of pre-checkin other than spending less time at the resort front counter when you arrive? What is the earliest you can pre-checkin prior to your arrival date?

Are there buses that travel between parks for those who like to Park Hop or do you still need to go the the DTD bus hub or any resort to transfer to the particular Park bus you need?

I'm greatly in favor of Disney transportation. If we have to wait for a bus then so be it. I just look at it as a small break to exhale amongst all fast-paced chaos of the parks.

We typically arrive late afternoon and grab a quick bite at resort, but our first full day usually starts with Chef Mickey's. No need for a lunch break that first day!

I really like the food at Mama's, but enjoy the entertainment value at 50's. It's a different type of food offered at 50's which is still very good. With food being, but not as good as Mama's and the entertainment of the wait staff I'd have to go with 50's, especially with 3 children.

Are the buses from POP now shared with AOA resort? It is (was?) a nice feature for POP to have its own bus run and I am hoping that it will continue.
