Port Orleans Riverside Q&A Thread 2013, Part One [Thread now FULL and closed]

While I am planning my next stay to be at POR, we stayed at CSR in June of 2010. We actually really enjoyed the resort! We had a first floor room facing the quiet pool in Cabanas. The room was beautiful, as were the grounds. We thought the food at Pepper Market was good, and the portions...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2011

We stayed on the ground floor on our last trip because our daughter is in a wheelchair. I hear absolutely no noise from above - only the neighbors next door when their door would open and close. And that can happen on any floor! The convenience was wonderful!

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- October 2010

On our last trip when dining at the Pepper Market our servers always brought us bottled water for my daughter. She has special needs and cannot drink through they typical cup with a straw. When they asked what she would like to drink and I explained the situation to them, they would always...

HELP...Staying at AKL..no parks this time?

While the resorts are beautiful, and provide a nice vacation, I would think about at least getting one day tickets to the Magic Kingdom. It was our son's favorite park when he was 4 years old. That way, maybe you can have a little taste of the parks to satisfy you! ;)

    Best of Pepper Market?

We LOVED the food at the Pepper Market when we stayed at CSR last summer. It is a real value if you are on the dining plan. I loved the chicken quesadilla. My husband got the steak, which he said was good for one quick service credit. My son got the ribs twice which were falling apart and...

Worried about Ohana's Dinner...anyone there recently?

We ate there in June and it was one of our favorite meals of the entire trip. Excellent service and amazing food. Will definitely return! I think service can be hit or miss at any restaurant, depending on the server you get.

Staying at CSR....take the bus or should I drive

We stayed at CSR for a week in June and drove EVERYWHERE! We have a daughter with special needs, and the buses are too difficult for us. I was a bit worried about driving in the beginning, but honestly it was so easy! We found we loved having our car everywhere and didn't get lost once. CSR...

Tentative Dining Plan...What Do You Think?

We loved both Narcoosee's and Yachtsman's during our trip in June. I would definitely eat at both places again. Our server at Yachtsman's (Samir) was amazing! :thumbsup2

has anyone tried those cooling neck wraps?

I got some at Walmart to take with us to the parks in June. It was terribly hot when we were there. I found that they were a pain to prepare in the hotel room, and didn't stay cold for long. Plus, the rest of my body was still so hot! I ended up throwing them away after the second day of...

    How is San Angel Inn?

I'll agree with that. We liked the looks of the lunch menu better than the dinner one. We loved the food there. My 14 year old son thought it was a little "too authentic" for his taste though. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed it as much as the adults did! I will definitely return for lunch. ;)

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- November 2009

We loved CSR when we stayed there in June. I have never stayed at the Swan/Dolphin, but have considered it before because Epcot is our favorite park and it would be so convenient to walk there (and the deluxes are so expensive). I think if you plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot, then it...

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- November 2009

I'm not sure about the pool or the comforters, but know about the counter service at Pepper Market. My 14 year old son really enjoyed it this summer. He ate quesadillas, ribs, steak, and loved all of the desserts. I think your kids will be very happy with all of the choices! ;)

    Nervous about 'Ohana ressie...

We went to both Narcoosee's and Ohana during our trip in June. We really enjoyed both of them. They are truly different dining experiences. I don't think they can be compared to one another at all. Everyone in our party was pleased with the quality of food that we received at both places. I...

Need opinions on Artists Point and Narcoossee's

We ate at Narcoosee's in June and really enjoyed it. The GF resort is beautiful, and it was neat to see the castle in MK from outside the restaurant. Our food was delicious! I ordered the filet, my husband had the whole lobster, and son had the surf and turf. We were all very happy with...

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- November 2009

The steak was on the menu when we were there in June - my husband's favorite! It really was quite a deal on the DDP for a quick service credit! We loved many things at the Pepper Market including the steak, quesadillas, ribs, and burgers! Hearty breakfast food, too. Have a great trip! ;)

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- November 2009

I have never stayed at POP, but have stayed at three different deluxe hotels before we stayed at Coronado Springs. We LOVED it! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are fresh and clean, and the queen size beds are great. We loved the pools and the Pepper Market. I think you will be very...

We went to Yachtsman's in June this year and had a FABULOUS meal. Definitely our favorite of the trip. Can't wait to go back! I highly recommend it. ;)

Coronado Springs Resort -- New Unofficial FAQ Thread -- November 2009

Now I am confused! No one ever asked us for extra $, and I looked back on my receipts and no gratuity was automatically added. I was under the impression that it was no longer included as part of the dining plan........

    San Angel Inn

My family ate here for lunch in June and we LOVED it. I got a chicken enchilada meal with re-fried black beans and rice - delicious. My 14 year old son was the only one who wasn't crazy about it. He does love Mexican food, but the menu was a little too "authentic" for his taste. We will...
