We’re staying at Port Orleans. We won’t have a car, but will have the whole day free to explore and eat, so we don’t mind travel as long as it’s on property. I’m hoping to see some decorations too.

What’s the best restaurant for a late lunch/dinner without a park ticket? We’re going for a weekend in December and are only doing the Christmas party. We already have Ohana booked for breakfast on our party day, and, as much as we love it, don’t want to do the same restaurant twice. ETA...

We were there 8/24-9/2 and didn’t think crowds were bad at all. My brother and SIL said crowds were much less than they were last time they were there, which was this past March.

Do the Christmas overlays on the rides start when we can enter at 4? Or do we need to ride those rides after 7 to see the special effects?

My youngest son has a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis Type 1, which tends to cause behavioral issues like ADHD and the like. He’s only just 6. What is the interview like? I’m worried it’ll be a lot for him, but last year it was really difficult for him to wait in lines.

Do restaurants with a set price (like Tusker House, Ohana, etc) include tax? The website says excludes tax & gratuity but I thought tax was included before. Does anyone know for sure?

What about the hotel quick service? If we’re in a rush, we’ll usually mobile order at the hotel and grab it on our way to the bus.

We have category 2 reservations at our preferred time (6:15) and category 1 reservations at 8:30. Id really prefer the earlier time, but want great seats and interaction during the show. Is category 1 *that* much better than category 2? Is it worth staying up later for?
