    Underwater cameras!

You know, someone else (a PHOTOGRAPHER, at that) suggested this camera to me. I'm on the cusp of needing a new point and shoot anyway...is this camera heavy/bulky at all? And it appears to have a flash, does it take good indoor pictures as well as outdoor? I may consider splurging since my point...

    Underwater cameras!

Is there a good place to look for these? I tried looking on Amazon but the only one I could find for my camera (The SD1100) was like $200+! I don't love my camera THAT much, haha.

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Absolutely! TBH, unless something completely out of the ordinary happens it probably won't be UNTIL we have children and they're at least a few years old that we cruise DCL again...but it's definitely something we will revisit in the future ;) (Sorry for the late reply BTW...we got married...

    Underwater cameras!

It's been a while since I posted here, but I remember seeing a lot of people post info on the underwater digital cameras that they bought for this and other cruises. I've tried to do some research but I swear, everything that I've found seems so unreliable! If anyone could give me info on...

how to lessen the amount of $$ spent

HA that's nothing. We wracked up about $1000 in charges (for only two people)! BUT ;) we had a couples massage in the cabana on CC. Amazing. We brought some of our own alcohol but couldn't pass up buying a bottle of wine at our Palo dinner (and the dinner itself was extra as well, of course). We...

    Need to vent re FE

If you haven't done the above yet, I second what this person said. Chances are you're not the only one having issues!

Different or unusual things to do at Disney?

Oh gosh, after working/living there for so long I'm not even sure I can remember all of the "secrets" I discovered! Some of them aren't really even secrets anymore, probably... -The big one has got to be Drinking around the World. One of those "not really a secret" ones but if you like to try...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

I decided to copy and paste the following from my travel blog. This is basically an overall trip review and gives my reasoning for deciding against booking another Disney cruise while on the ship, if anyone is interested: I’ve definitely heard the term “great product, not for us” thrown...

Castaway Cay - what to see and do

The adult beach is AWESOME. There are some rocky reefs in some areas in the water, but there are also areas where it's just sand. Everything is spotlessly clean and beautiful. Although the hammocks are taken up fairly early (our friends got there at about 10 AM and got the last free hammock)...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

I thought about the cruise line one! I also thought about getting the cruise line wallet WITH my Disney World purse...but I'm much more of a Disney World nut then a DCL nut :worship: I hear ya on the time off...it's hard for us to take more than a couple days off here and there because Steve...

Disney Cruise NEWBIE...I have no idea what I'm doing lol

We drove when we went last month. If you stay somewhere in Cocoa Beach look for a hotel that has a park & cruise option. A lot of people do the Radisson; we used Comfort Inn but I've also heard of people using a Country Inn. If you do this, the cost of the room will cover your parking as well...

4 Adults - new to this - Help please

The rooms on DCL are pretty big compared to other cruise lines, especially the OLDER ships on other cruise lines...but I would never, ever suggest that four adults share a room unless you're getting some kind of suite.

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

After another quick stop at the Rainforest Room in the spa, Steve and I showered and got ready for dinner. We had originally planned on checking out the Disney Dreams show at 6:15--I had exacted a promise from him that we could--but as it crept close to 5:30 and I realized that I wanted a couple...

Disney Cruise NEWBIE...I have no idea what I'm doing lol

You have to count the cost of tips (they range from $3 per person to $12 per person for a three-day cruise and there are four people that you have to tip--dining room manager, assistant server, server and stateroom steward). We overtipped all of our guys and still didn't even spend $100 on tips...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Hmm...I don't remember seeing steak, but they may have had that. There was at least one empty pan that could have been for steak. I do remember ribs, though.

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Now, I'm a workout nut at home and after a day and a half of stuffing myself with whatever I felt like eating and drinking, I decided to force myself out of bed early on Castaway Cay day. Originally I considered a Pilates class, but I finally decided to just hit up one of the ellipticals in the...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Well folks, I didn't think I'd have time to do this today but turns out...I am a master of efficiency and have finished all my work. So I'm bored. And that means that y'all get to read about the second part of the second day of our cruise! Now where was I... Oh yeah, Palo & Pirate Party night...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Okay, so. Obviously we were not up-and-at-'em early the next day...but we were off the ship before 11 AM, so HOORAY US! :cool1: For those of you who didn't read my pre-trip TR...we debated for some time as to what we would do in Nassau. I assumed that the snorkeling around Castaway Cay would...

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

I'm glad we weren't the only ones wearing them! We gave up doing so on Saturday because we never saw anyone else anyway :confused3

    A 30 ROCK (-'n'-Roll) Cruise! ~30 IS the new 20~

Once Steve had convinced me to leave the "whimsy of the Sail Away Party behind...we decided that it was time to fill the FE's! Aaaand this is when we discovered that something had gone horribly wrong :scared1: Basically, I had planned on separating all of the FE goodies out before we left...
