    Questions about August and TGM/TP

Thanks for the replies! We'll have 2 days per park and I'm only planning to hit my favorites, so I think I'll be okay with the heat. Or as okay as I'll ever be. We're upgrading our dining plan so we can do mostly TS restaurants, since the idea of eating in a/c for a good amount of time is...

    Questions about August and TGM/TP

I'm planning my first ever trip during the summer season for next year, starting on August 19 when free dining kicks in. I'm from San Francisco ("the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco") and have very very little tolerance for heat. 75F is hot for me! :scared1...

Beauty and the Beast stage show

I'm having one heck of a time finding reviews on this show. Is it any good? Worth seeing? Any comparisons to the Aladdin show at DCA?

Anybody else hate the Jack Skellington costume?

Talking is nice, but only if they pull off the look. I'd much rather have Jack look like Jack and not say Jack!

Anybody else hate the Jack Skellington costume?

Disney usually does a fantastic job with costumes and all the characters really look like the cartoons they're modeled after. When I think of that new talking Mickey, I'm completely amazed. And then there's the odd man out with Jack Skellington. I think he looks awful! They got the head...

Need help finding supplies for ornaments

Hi everyone, I'm thinking ahead and would like to paint my own Christmas ornaments, but I'm having trouble finding blank, basic ornaments online. I'd like to paint on some balls, as well as flat ornaments, like circles, stars, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction? It feels like...

Favorite meals at DL & DCA - Less Than $14.99 Per Person

The ribs at Taste Pilot's Grill - it's a must do for everyone in my family. My mom doesn't even like ribs, but she always orders these. :thumbsup2 I also really like the pasta at Redd Rocket's.. the fusilli (sp?) with chicken in a creamy white sauce.

    PS3 at Grand Californian

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a PS3 could be hooked up to the TVs at the Grand Californian? Beauty and the Beast and How to Train Your Dragon are coming out on Blu-Ray right before my trip, so I'd like to watch them during our afternoon breaks.

    Halloween at DL

I went ahead and sent in an email. This has been a problem that has irritated me for years and is one of the reasons WDW can be a much better vacation (in some ways). Here's my email, which includes a complaint about Fantasmic. Hi, I have been to Disneyland dozens of times and to WDW...

I can't find the article you're talking about, but the disneyland calendar is now showing an 8:15 WOC show midweek in September. Yay!! :thumbsup2

Tuki's journal: 7 months to change my life! (A long intro)

I know it's bad and I should kick my *** into gear, but I'm off diet til Sunday. I'm not gonna go all crazy with the food, but it's hard to diet completely with the plans I have for the next few days.

Tokyo Disney on 2 Weeks’ Notice: Hightower Halloween Costume!

Looooooong time lurkyloo lurker, first time poster. :goodvibes Just wanted to say that I'm so loving this trip report! Thank you so much for putting up all the pics and writing up all the details. I'm planning a trip, but it's hard to know if we'll pull it off with the way this economy is...

Tuki's journal: 7 months to change my life! (A long intro)

I've done really well (for me) and I'm down about 6 pounds. But.. I've got a wedding coming up at the end of the month and I'm not sure how to eat properly when it involves a 9 hour road trip (each way), as well as typical wedding food. I'll also be meeting the family of one of my closest...

    Senior rates

Somehow I never knew there were senior rates available. I just booked a vacation for my mom and me. She just turned 60, so our rate at the Grand Californian (with tickets) went from 1878 down to 1431! Just thought I'd pass on the tip, in case someone else was clueless like me. :cool1:

    Fantasmic Dessert and Fireworks

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure how the crowds are after the fireworks. All I remember from the last time I went was that the hub turns into a one way people traffic jam, so I wasn't sure if we could make it between fighting our way through that and then fighting our way through the crowd...

    Fantasmic Dessert and Fireworks

I'm wanting to get the dessert package for my mom, as she's not a big fan of F! and doesn't want to wait long, but we both want to see the new dragon. We're not sure if there will be 2 shows when we go, but if there is, would this work? Have my mom hold a spot for me for the fireworks while...

Help! Need a San Fran itinerary.

Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, and Ghiradelli chocolate factory are all pretty much in the same big area. I would suggest starting off near Pier 39. Take the Ferry to Alcatraz and when you get back, walk along the shore until you get to Ghiradelli Square. You'll see pretty much the entire...
