I was finally able to cancel my reservation at Embassy Suites LBV this morning. It was a non-refundable net direct rate, but they are refunding my money under these circumstances.

We just decided to go down and use our last two pluses to hit the waterparks. I have been pleasantly surprised by the availability of rooms and PSs, so hope it won't be too crowded. I do realize a lot of locals probably hit the waterparks on weekends, but so be it.... We'll get there early...

Don't go wild with it. My husband wrapped it all the way around my foot in Hawaii and when it came off the top of my foot, so did the skin there. I won't be using it again.

The launches are fun, but it is hot, there are often delays etc... We had special access to a great viewing area on top of a tall building and the view was great (We saw the launch with John Glenn,) but my kids would have been antsy. It's a tough call whether to go that day and get involved...

I'm an Embassy Suites person myself. I've never been disappointed by one, though I have not stayed at one in Orlando. I like their breakfast - see if the others have it, and remember that the Embassy generally has cooked to order omelets etc..., not just rolls, coffee and juice.
