    Magic Band/Card for children

We won't be going until October, 2024 and likely things will change but.., how do the tickets work for children? I understand I can have a Magic Band, a hard ticket or use the app on my phone to get into the parks. Is that correct? But what about children? We will have 2 9 year olds, 2 4...

    Park Hopper or Genie+

We are planning a trip for October, 2024 and its looking like a large group, 3 family groups, about 18 people. There will be 2-10 year olds, 2-4 year olds (or close to it) and 2-3 year olds plus parents, grandparents and a great grandparent. Also, one adult has Downs and at least one adult...

Do we need to have Genie+ or Lightening Lane?

Thank you. One thing we have said is it is kinda far away so no telling what Disney will come up with between now and then. I'm hoping it is an improvement. I did not know the most popular rides were not on Genie+ but it looks like still a lot of the rides we would want to do are on there...

Do we need to have Genie+ or Lightening Lane?

Thank you all so much. There are really 3 families but the parents of the kitties are all best friends. Not sure how they will attempt the rides since 4 kids are little and 2 bigger. I’ll just be there to ride as much as I can, lol. The mother of the downs young man knows the ins and outs I...

Do we need to have Genie+ or Lightening Lane?

Its been quite a few years since I have been so be patient with me. I've always been the planner on our trips but I am bowing out of that role on this trip (as much as I can, lol). Our trip is planned for October of 2024. We will be going in a large group, 18-20 people, 6 of them children...

    Largish group...resort recommendations

Definitely staying on property. They all went a few years ago and that trip DIL says was all adults, one small child. She said they liked the house but travel was a pain. I have always pushed to stay onsite as that is all I have done since they had the resorts. Plus DIL's father has some...

    Largish group...resort recommendations

This trip is a few years off but the OP in me is already checking on things The group will be my son and his wife and 4 children that will be 4,4,5 and 10. Her parents and 20 something brother who has Downs will be going and me. I looked at pictures of the family suite at AllStars but it just...

    Starting over.

I’ve been to WDW several times but the last time was about 10 years ago. I know a lot has changed. Wrist bands instead of a card (which is wonderful). I know a lot more has changed. We aren’t actually going until 2025 when the grands are older. DIL wants to use a travel agent and I’m all for...

Anyone done the Nina and Pinta boat tour?

Anyone done the Nina and Pinta boat tour?

They are coming to Biloxi, Mississippi next month and was thinking of taking my 4.5 year old grandson. He is all boy and I think he would love this. But looking at one youtube video it looked kinda boring. It is a self-guided tour so you just pretty much get to walk around on the boat and...

This is just so sad,,and makes me ask WHY would someone do this?? I don't call it 'playing'??

Thanks. I saw some talk about the windows being tinted and that alone would be enough. Plus hadn't really thought about it but there would have had to have been a breeze through the window which would be the second clue it was open.

This is just so sad,,and makes me ask WHY would someone do this?? I don't call it 'playing'??

I've never been on a cruise or this ship so tell me what is different from what the family attorney is saying. Not wanting to start an argument. I am really curious. Also, as a parent and a grandparent there is no way I let my child bang on any window that high up unless I have a death grip on...

    TEE (Transesophageal ECHO) - Nervous!

My mother had one and never knew anything was going on. I've had a "scope" down my esophagus and I vaguely remember them spraying something in my throat to numb it but that is all I remember.

    I think I'm dealing with a Passive-Aggressive

UPDATE...She did not sing in the choir Sunday but her husband did. I'm glad he did because he really has a very nice voice. We don't sit hear each other in church so I did not see them afterward. I was actually a little nervous that she might say something to me either before or after church...

    I think I'm dealing with a Passive-Aggressive

I don't think so. I never said anything to her about her kicking me. The comments about the cup that she may have misunderstood were actually made to someone else. As for the time I showed her where we were in the music I simply pointed to the place on the sheet music and may have whispered...

    Anyone here to genealogy?

I've been doing mine off and on for many years, since college which was about 40 years ago. I've run into a stone wall with one of my maternal grandmothers. Her name was Janie Harper. Only there is just nothing anywhere about a Janie Harper. Daddy told me once when I was little that he had...

What is the earliest year of a person

The furtherest I've gotten back was to 1475 in England. I have lots of family traced back to the 1600s.

    I think I'm dealing with a Passive-Aggressive

Thanks. Y'all are great. And every reply...I was thinking the exact same thing. I just hate she is upset but you know I did all I could and I know I did nothing wrong. A friend even mentioned maybe its a little dementia on her part. Could be. But I am getting over it.

    I think I'm dealing with a Passive-Aggressive

Sorry if this goes long. First off, I am very much involved in our music program at church. I'm in choir, praise team, sing solos, etc. And I love every minute of it. Due to various issues our choir membership has dwindled but is slowly building back up so every new member is important...
