    Character dining prices?

Thank you all for your responses! It sounds like we might do Goofy's Kitchen for brunch at the end of the trip, and possibly either Ariel's Grotto WOC dining, OR Minnie and Friends. Also, how cool to see some people so close to us! Across the water and just up island! Awesome!

HalloweenTime at DLR Superthread- 9/14-10/31; Mickey's Halloween Party starts 9/28!

I'm incredibly disappointed, too. I was really hoping for the October 16 party, but it's on a Monday instead. Does anyone know why? Ugh. How frustrating and disappointing.

    Character dining prices?

I'm wondering about the different character dining prices for kids and adults, for all the restaurants. Our favorite is Goofys Kitchen. Thanks! We'll be there October.

    Disneylands Halloween Party?

I've never been, but will be going this October. They do still do it, and adults can dress up. I heard it's well worth it.

What is included in the BBB packages

Hair and makeup (they get to keep the comb and makeup), a bag and sash... Same as above plus nail polish ($5 more than the first) These are the only 2 I can think of. The Disneyworld website will have all the info. My daughter got the second package, plus I paid another $8 I think, for a...

Parents of girls: What would you do?

Wow, thank you so much for all of your responses! The majority of replies were for BBB. And I never thought about the fact that going to Studio Disney would take away from our park time! So that was pretty much the deciding factor for me. While my oldest does LOVE Hannah Montana, etc, she also...

Parents of girls: What would you do?

We're going to DLR the middle of October to surprise our daughters for their birthdays (trip is scheduled for right in between their 2 birthdays). The last time we went was April 2010, and we let our oldest DD (who was 4 at the time) go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Our youngest DD was 1.5 at...

Goofy Kitchen Disneyland Hotel review - April 2012

I've been to Goofy's Kitchen 3 times for brunch (1996, 1999, 2010) and have never once had a bad experience. I don't remember the trips in 1996 or 1999 very well, but the one in 2010, we had about 7-8 characters stop at our table, and another 3 or so that didn't bother stopping at our table (WTH...

    How extensive is your planning?

When planning a trip to Disneyland, how extensive is your planning? Do you plan every single activity? Just the major activities? Or nothing? Do you have an order you plan your activities in? (Character dining a certain day, BBB, etc.)

    Should we tell the kids?

I would personally not tell my kids. They would be SO unbelievably upset with us (my oldest, for example, cries, or almost cries, when we talk about Disneyland). I would probably tell them we were going elsewhere (Vegas, for example). I would bring them Disney-related souvenirs, but tell them we...

    Low crowds

Is there a time of year that most of the rides are open but crowds are low? For our next trip (2014 most likely... yes, that's right, I'm starting to plan already!), my hubby wants to go to DLR with low crowds, but I don't want to miss a bunch of rides that might be down for refurbs. I went in...

    Halloween party

I'm also trying to figure out which day to attend. I'm leaning towards the Tuesday (it'll be our first day at the parks). I really hope ticket prices come out soon, I'm dying to know how much I'll need to save.

    Disneyland Planning Advice/Suggestions needed!

All I know for sure is that you do NOT need a carseat for Disneyland Express. We brought our 1.5 year old on it in 2010 and didn't need a carseat.

New Video: Flying Saucers at Disneyland (1961)

I'm sure my oldest will want to ride it at least once. She LOVES bumper cars. It just doesn't look fantastic.

New Video: Flying Saucers at Disneyland (1961)

Luigi's Flying Tires looks incredibly boring to me. It's something I'll most likely skip, unless the line is 5 minutes long or less.

Is it bad that I only like Johnny Depp when he's dressed as Jack Sparrow? Something about men wearing eye liner!

    Seeing Stars?!?

I only knew who Sonny is/was because it's the only famous Sonny I've ever heard of lol! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Patrick Warburton! He's amazing and genious! When we were in DCA in April 2010, my mom saw Kevin Costner with one of his sons (my hubby, oldest DD and I were on Soarin'). They were being...
