The Carolwood Pacific room is in the villas... If you go in and make a quick right the room is in there... It has a railcar from Walt's model and photos of Walt and other imagineers through the years... It is interesting and very cozy... There are chairs and a fireplace as well as chess boards...

Personally I think it is time for all of the all stars to get a refurb... I stayed at music in 06 and even back then I thought the resort was getting aged...

It only reaches a top speed of 28 mph so if you have ever been on splash you can have solace in the fact that splash is faster on the drop at approx 40 mph...

yeh... i am staying there in 2 weeks... i looked into it and it said that you can only go to DTD from OKW... im not sure i would use it that often... though i used the ferry when i stayed at WL last year... but that was going to MK so it was vastly different...

in all the years i have been to WDW i do not think i have ever been on this attraction... whether it be because its closed or not i really never saw the need to go on it... not a Disneyish attraction in my opinion...

I've seen people jump off almost every ride at some point... There are exits before probably every attraction... He should be fine... But I'd be willing to bet he finds himself on a few rides when it's all said and done...

I'm a 8-10 day person... But if you have never been... Or are with children who have never been... Definitely 10-14 days might be sufficient...
