Well I guess we will see what Disney does. I’d doubt they just say tough luck and we have no options.

Luckily the trip isn't until 8/28 so there’s plenty of time for things to change that’s for sure. Oh, and the constant busy signal at member services is quite annoying lol

So I’m in a pickle. We were given points by MIL but had to be concierge collection so we chose BW club level. So it doesn’t look like the hotel portion of the hotel is open, I can’t get threw to member services and we can’t move the points to a regular dvc reservation I guess. Ugh.

I'd actually expect the opposite. It will be easier for Disney to open up the hotel portion of BC for example than to open another stand alone hotel. There is also no evidence showing every single non DVC reservation being canceled post the opening date so I'm not sure how they would have these...
