I'm super excited about our upcoming trip to DL. We arrive in 2 weeks, 2 days. Since we're driving in, I'm making and freezing breakfast burritos, egg cups, and muffins to bring with us for "gourmet" room breakfasts at the HOJO. Will also bring fruit, extra coffee, and whipped butter. :)

All the suggestions above are great. Here are a few more: 1. Familiarize your child with the stories tied to the attractions. If he knows, the story, he may be more excited to go on the attraction. Public libraries have most of the stories in book form. Or watch/re-watch the old films...

What are adult portions like now at DL? I was looking at pictures on Yelp and they seem smallish.

My kids are 9 and 4. Whenever we go out to eat, I often get them one adult meal to share. It's usually the perfect amount of food and I sometimes save a few bucks off two kids meals, which seem to have gone up in price everywhere. Plus, my kids get to try new things.
