I managed to get our tix for Sept 21 right before they went limited availability. Once I hit the timer it counted down quickly - about twice as fast as my wall clock.

I didn't think anything could be worse than runDisney event registrations... turns out I was wrong!

So excited - got the 5k for spouse (disability runner) and myself, and also snagged the 10k for myself. No half or challenge for me this fall as I expect to have minimal training time for wine & dine this year to prep for a half. Surprised to see the 5k and half still open at almost noon though!

That has been true lately - but still I was surprised to see the DDD go first. The 10 miler is a weird distance, I wonder if that has something to do with it.

So, I got the 10k fairly quickly, and then managed to register my wife and I for the 5k as well. Yoga was gone by the time we tried for it. I've been sitting on a hotel room at the Hyatt for several weeks in hopes of getting into the 10k or half... and so this is all working out!. Now to book...

I have one at over an hour and one at 16 minutes.. Wife is stuck at over an hour too... sigh. it shouldn't be this stressful!

Getting to sleep in is definitely a nice consolation prize!

Well... I managed to get registered for the 10k virtual; and wife and I are registered for the 5k virtual. Guess we'll be doing it on our own around Crescent lake since we are booked at the Dolphin. Sad to not able to experience the whole event this year, but happy we still get to participate in...

I was thinking about that too - maybe it's time to cough up some extra $$ to side step this insanity.

And now the Half is gone... guess I'm doing a virtual race for marathon weekend. So, so glad I got the two-course for the Wine & Dine...

Interesting - the browser window I had in queue before 10am still says "Over an hour" but the one I opened when the site came back up says "38 minutes"... still I'll take what I can get!

So glad we waited to buy regular tickets for our BooBash trip this weekend... I was able to buy our APs online at 7:45 this morning with only a minute in the queue. Still this was cutting it close, we leave in the morning and now of course we have to activate them when we get there tomorrow!

Called into the 4240 number around 6:33p EDT and just got our two tickets for 9/10 about 20 minutes ago. That was an almost 3 hour wait. Oh and plus two shorter disconnected calls earlier today. The cast member I spoke with was still chipper and professional after what sounded like a very long...

Yay, SWW thread #2 - Thanks yulilin! We'll be there with the crowds on Memorial day weekend. My son is so excited that I managed to snag a 9am breakfast on Memorial Day at SciFi - the perfect cap to the weekend... before we spend the rest of the day in the pool recovering from Saturday & Sunday.
