Will you pay $150 for the new "Disney After Dark" event in the MK?

The more people who buy these and go will impact the likelihood of keeping the EMH in the future as "free" perks for those staying onsite.

Would you rather go 1 day or not go at all?

One day is better than nothing- I have had a few one days there and its over fast but worth it.

Yesterday at Magic Kingdom - 4/3/16

I feel that the cleanliness of the bathrooms has certainly gone down the past few years. I have been going to WDW nearly yearly since 2005 and I remember actually talking about how impressed I was with the bathrooms during those first couple years we went. The prices keep going up but the...

    Check-in with AP discount

I have never been asked for it at check in but did have the vouchers and paperwork with me just in case. Then we head over to Epcot and get them activated.

Do people actually enjoy these attractions?

Carousel of Progress is my favorite and I usually see it a few times when I am there. As far as the others: Tiki room - yes, love it Country Bears - yes Hall of Presidents - sometimes Carousel of Progress - always Captain EO - No Journey with Figment - yes, love it Ellen's Energy - did it...

Thanks for your report. Glad you had a good time. Sorry to see the Osborne lights end too.

    1- Day @ Disney

I personally would not leave for a meal at Chef Mickeys if you only have one day at MK. If you have kids and/or wanted to do a character meal, you could make a reservation for Crystal Palace which is right in Magic Kingdom. They serve breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet style and the characters...

Planning a first time trip to Disneyland - Question about hotels

Thank you all for the information. I didn't realize that there were that many other hotel options located near DL. I thought that there were more perks with staying on Disney property but it seems like there are enough alternatives nearby. I just cannot afford to stay in any of those DL hotels...

Planning a first time trip to Disneyland - Question about hotels

I am planning a first time trip to Disneyland in CA and had a question about Disney hotels. I apologize if there is another thread that answers this but I could not find one. Are there any room only discounts available for any of the three Disneyland hotels on property, similar to the general...

    How long between visits?

We try to go at least once a year and sometimes twice if I can get a good discount.

Best YouTube channel for ride-thru videos?

There is a channel called Erik and America and he has lots of Disney videos.

    Dinosaur at AK

I don't usually ride coaster type rides, but I don't mind this one (because there are no real drops. It is super jerky so if I am not feeling strong enough to "hang on", I skip it. It is fun but really bouncy.

    Pirates ride closed?

I rode it several times last week but it was down for a while each of the days I was there.

Returning from a Short 3-Day Trip: Food and Wine Festival Chaos

Just returned from a short trip to WDW for the Food and Wine Festival and MNSSHP. It has been 3 or 4 years since visiting in the fall. Overall, we had a great time. The weather and atmosphere were good (only one very rainy evening). We went to Epcot on our arrival day- lines for the marketplaces...

Annual WDW vacationers....what do your kids think?

My sons are 16 and 14 and they still look forward and love going to Disney. We have been going at least once a year for the past 10 years. We travel to many other places but Disney is the preferred favorite. They love it- the past few trips, EPCOT has really grown on them and become their...

    How to handle the rain

We were also there last July and it rained 6/7 days of our trip. We always go in July so we expect daily rain, but last year it seemed to last longer than just a brief shower. We brought our usual cheap ponchos which did not hold up to that kind of rain and ended up getting the WDW heavier...

    The "Splash" Is Back!

That is wonderful- Our favorite ride that was missed during EMH when they removed it. Thank you for posting this!

    Backpacks

I always carry a large over the shoulder bag and my son carries a standard backpack every trip and it works out fine. Both our bags fit on every ride fine and we have not had any issue. I would feel lost without it actually. The only tip is that I place it in between my lower legs/feet off the...

If someone could ride ONE ride what would you say!?

Very hard to pick just one but it would have to be Splash Mountain.

July 3rd at MK - just *how* crazy?

We have been to MK both on July 3rd and 4th and agree that the 3rd is much better than the 4th. It is actually less crowded in my opinion but still packed if you plan on watching the fireworks from Main Street. We were at Epcot on the 4th in 2013 and were stuck in a major parking lot traffic...
