I personally would not leave for a meal at Chef Mickeys if you only have one day at MK. If you have kids and/or wanted to do a character meal, you could make a reservation for Crystal Palace which is right in Magic Kingdom. They serve breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet style and the characters...

We try to go at least once a year and sometimes twice if I can get a good discount.

I don't usually ride coaster type rides, but I don't mind this one (because there are no real drops. It is super jerky so if I am not feeling strong enough to "hang on", I skip it. It is fun but really bouncy.
