Depending on the day and the weather, some restaurants at the port won't have a table available outside. You can leave your table and go outside to see the ships pass, just take your valuables with you. If you are sitting outside and want to go stand closer to the railing be aware that the...
We were in our late 50s and did ABD with our Med cruise. There were a few children in our group; however, there was never an issue and many times the kids went off and rejoined all the adults later in the day. Highly recommend ABD Med add-on as we did some great unique excursion.
Heard from someone on board that there is a lot of work to be done. New marble not completed, lots of floors not done, toilets not working, etc. and they may have to cancel second scheduled cruise out of Miami. Crossing was no picnic, only drink choices were milk or water.
We live near the port and we like Grills' food better. Their grilled Mahi Mahi can't be beat, all of their sandwiches are really good, and the coconut shrimp are outstanding, and they serve great breakfast too.
I assume that you can add additional gratuity in addition to the 18% just like any other place that automatically adds on gratuity to a bill based on the level of service you receive.
Take exit 49 off of Rt. 528 before the port, turn right at the light and go about 1/2 mile. On your left will be a Publix that sells water and wine and a liquor store is also in the same shopping center.
Other craft ideas: make door magnets (foam pieces, glitter, etc. with magnetic strip on back), Disney themed hair clips, decorated pirate sashes/headbands, or make autograph books.

Our daughter-in-law dropped her dress off at Guest Services when we boarded the ship, and it turned up later in her room damaged without so much as a note saying there was a problem. They supposedly steamed it and snagged the material in several places and ripped out the tacking that held the...
We made our son a top hat with ears. Purchased a top hat from an online costume company, and a beanie from WDW with felted ears. Took the ears off the beanie and riveted them onto the top hat. Cost was under $40 while the same thing on eBay was $99.99.
For our son's upcoming CC wedding, we bought postcards at each port of call on a previous cruise that they will ask guests to write their well wishes to them on, and will put them in a CC photo album in place of a guest book. Then the album can be filled with pictures that the guests take...
Meredith told our son that they could only have two witnesses at the ceremony in port befor the ship sails. Tell me this isn't so as both sets of parents want to attend at a minimum.
If you are looking for Disney beach towels (not the thick ones you can buy onboard) for you guest gift bags, they have them in the outlet store for $6.99 and $7.99 with an additional 30% off. Another 10% off if you use your Disney VISA.
Our travel plans were to fly Thursday, spend Friday in Barcelona, and board on Saturday. Our flight was once a day out of NY; unfortunately, NY shut down because of an impending storm so we were delayed in Baltimore. By the time NY reopened and we flew in, our flight had departed. After hours...
Don't remember where I found the tissues online. Personal size Wrinkle Release was from Target. If you make the Hangover Kit, print labels to seal the bags closed
with out of focus letters that say, Hangover Kit, the are really cute.
We did a 10-night Hawaiian cruise on NCL and had mixed feelings. The adult crafts on sea days were excellent, the food was good, entertainment was awful. A cruise it what you make it. Can't offer any insight about the kids program as we didn't have any kids in our group. Only one pool that...
