IASW - the goodbyes are back

We rode it today, as well, and I thought it looked a little fresher and had a few new signs. Was nice to see it's still around!

How strict are CMs with height restrictions

In our experience, they have been very strict about it. Three years ago, when we took my son for his 5th birthday, we got in line for Primeval Whirl. He was measured at the entrance and just met the 48 inch requirement. After waiting in the loooong line, he was measured again right before we got...

Crowds now - not so bad

Just checked the app to see the wait times, and it has Space Mtn listed at 225 mins? That's crazy talk.

Haha, I'm 36, and my husband and mom have said that I still hum when I eat something tasty. :)

Am I Nuts?? 'Ohana vs O'hana

Another misspelling that gets to me is "viola" instead of "voila". Why would you want to exclaim, "Stringed Instrument!" rather than "Behold!"?

Yay!!!!!! I've been waiting for this info, and *hoping* it'd be done before our late January trip ends. This is even better news! Thanks!

    January 2013 Discounts

Got off the phone about 15 mins ago, after booking my S/P/D package at FQ! She told me the same price as what I was quoted on Sunday when I called to price some things out. The discount is there! Don't give up hope!

    Canada-"Under-Appreciated"?

I love the Canada Pavilion, simply because I think Canada is an awesome country. (Such a nerd, that I got all the questions on the quiz the CMs at the Mercantile gave me. My husband and I still laugh at their incredulous tone as they asked, "How do you know so much about Canada?") Yes, it's dull...

    Splash Mountain Refurb in 2013?

Still no word on if (when?) Splash is being refurbed in January? It's usually posted by now, isn't it? We didn't make it to WDW this year, but when I booked both our Jan 2010 and 2011 trips in early October of 2009 and 2010, the refurb schedule was already out. It'd be nice to be able to plan...

    Where was this photo taken?

There's a hedge maze at the UK pavilion at Epcot. Could it be there? EDIT: Nevermind. The picture I thought you were talking about is on the MAIN main Disney page, not the WDW main page. I have no idea where the one on the WDW page was taken. ;)

    POFQ new room photos?

Check out the POFQ thread floating around on the front page of the resort forum. There are lots of pictures posted there, starting at about page 209. Here's a link to some on page 220: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1975035&page=220

What is the one thing at WDW that you've said ...

THIS. We got there before it opened and were the first in line, figuring it had to be great if it's a FP ride. Instead, I was pretty bored and feeling sorry that we wasted time on it.

What are the chances we'll be able to check-in before 4pm?

We checked in at POFQ between 11:30 and noon on 1/18, and were given a room right away. Your mileage may vary. :)

    Price of Mouse Ears?

I always thought that, too, but I saw a lot of places that charged for it last month, including The Chapeau at MK. Here's an article about the prices.

    Just Back from POFQ

We stayed at POFQ from January 18-25, and had a wonderful time, as well! In fact, had it not been for my son coming down with a double ear infection AND swimmer's ear, it would have been perfect. :) For the record, we were in building 2 (room 2119) and the Mousekeeper, Veronica, was great!
