waze is the only direction app i use. it's always been accurate for me. iExit is also a must have app for interstate road trips

when i drove with my twin 1 year olds, we just listened to their cues. made sure to get them out of the seats when we stopped. we did not force stops at certain intervals. if they were sleeping or content and there was no reason to stop we kept driving.

i rebooked my stay with this. due to needing two rooms, one for 9 nights and one for 6, we had to have both res be the same category and standard was not available. switching and being able to book a cheaper category shaved about 1900 off the room cost besting the 1600 in dining credits.

i just booked this for august, 7 nights at POR and i'm getting $700 in dining credits. i think that is more than 20% off room rate currently offered and expected to be extended to august. there are 4 of us so it won't be hard to use those credits.

i'm back. planning my third drive from minneapolis in august. will stop for the night near knoxville with some relatives on the way down. maybe on way back but that makes for a very long second day.
