Hershey, PA any advice for deals, must sees?

Lancaster is a great trip, as are the smaller towns, such as Intercourse. IMO, the smaller towns offer a more authentic look at the Amish culture and life.

    Vera outlet

The Orlando Premium Outlets website always lists the sales at the VB store. If your dates are not there, just call the store and ask. They are usually very helpful.

    Flying Alegiant into Sanford

Especially depending on the number of people that you would be paying for a shuttle service for, I would suggest looking into renting a car for the stay. There are usually some good prices and/or specials if you look around. It would also get you back to the airport for your flight out, and may...

    Everything Disney Doll Related

Thanks for the information! This is the first release I'll be attempting to buy. My daughter fell in love with Frozen and I just now learned of the first set of LE dolls and wish I had known about the dolls then. These LE dolls are just gorgeous!

    Cold in Disney

Our first trip to Disney ended up being during a very cold spell. However, the late mornings and afternoons tend to warm up. Layers are the way to go. I found that I preferred to take a warm hat, scarf, gloves and a medium weight jacket. The smaller items were much easier to pack and carry after...

Please help! Elsa doll question for DD

Thanks all for the responses! Her birthday is in February, so we have a little time to work with, but I could "make" myself go to DTD for a turkey holiday sandwich at Earl of Sandwich and to try to find an Elsa doll, as it's one of the few weekends I'm free in the next few weeks. I'll have...

Please help! Elsa doll question for DD

Thanks for the responses. Do you mind sharing where you found the Amazon doll for $30.95? I only see the Elsa for $49 and up. I'm sorry- I should have clarified on which doll I am looking for- the Disney one, not the Mattel that is available commonly in stores. The link below shows the...

Please help! Elsa doll question for DD

For anyone that has been to DTD recently, is the 12" Elsa doll ($16.95 and similar to a Barbie) available at World of Disney or Once Upon a Toy? My daughter's birthday is coming up- we just saw Frozen and she loves Elsa's look after she is "free to be herself". The doll seems to be sold out...

Buying a new laptop and need advice.

I switched to a MacBook Pro in 2008. Since then, we have replaced all the computers in the house with Macs. They just work so much better- no crashing, viruses, etc. It's wonderful to open the lid on a laptop and have it ready to go in a few seconds vs. a few minutes with the Windows machines. I...

Fl Residents and summer in WDW?

I've gotten the seasonal passes with the blackout dates in summer the past few years and been pretty happy with them. I would never want to go to Disney in the summer with the humidity and rain anyway.

    Laptops???

I bought my first Apple 3 years ago, and will never buy a PC again. The Apple products are vastly superior. No more freezing, crashing, etc.

Thinking about buying a Apple MacBook Pro...what do I need to know?

I've never paid MORE for software on the Mac. I've actually paid LESS or the same. The OS upgrades are usually $29, versus $99 and up for Windows upgrades. Office for Mac (by Microsoft) is the same price as the Windows version. There are also a ton of free and cheap programs in the App Store...

Thinking about buying a Apple MacBook Pro...what do I need to know?

I bought my MBP 13 inch almost 3 years ago. It's still working extremely well, and I would highly recommend it over a Windows laptop. I will never go back to Windows! You should check into the Apple education pricing, and there's also currently the "back to school" deal- $100 free in the app...

    Affordable KCups

I've been buying from Bed, Bath & Beyond. They have a good selection of K cup flavors. With a 20% off coupon, I get an 18 pack for $9.60, shipped free. It does seem to take about 1-2 weeks to arrive though.

Ticket Prices Going Up on Sunday!

I hate to say it, but with over an 11% increase in the price of the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass, I believe my family will be taking a break from having a pass for a few years. Disney was already starting to lose a little of the magic for the kids, with going so frequently, so maybe it's time...

Kirkland flea & tick vs frontline?

I've always tended to have poor results with OTC flea/tick products. Love Trifexis- my dog goes outside often and I've found the product to be very effective- no fleas or ticks on him or in the house!

Are you happy with your Nissan?

I agree with the other posters on the Intelligent Key. It is so nice not to have to deal with keys at all. The Rogues are also very nice to drive. For me, it was between the Altima Hybrid and the Rogue, but the gas mileage on the Hybrid made the decision for me. I still like the Rogue, but...

    Vera Bradley outlet in Orlando

The previous post has many valid points. I was at the VB Outlet two weekends ago, and for Winter Clearance/MLK weekend, everything in the store was an additional 25% off. However, without that extra 25% off, the typical outlet prices did not seem to me to be super bargains compared to the sale...
