    Arcade

Hi. I was looking at options on the Royal Caribbean website, and I notice arcade credits could be purchased at a discount, ahead of time. On Enchantment of the Seas, does anyone know how the arcade system works. Do they use that card like a gift card to purchase tokens or is that card how they...

    Special Needs Stroller recommendations

My little guy has finally grown out of the City Mini. We love everything about that stroller, but he is simply too big for it now. He is almost 8, 48 inches tall, and weighs 46 pounds. Our Therapist is starting the process to get insurance to pay for the stroller. Does anyone have a Special...

    Door alarms for hotel room?

You may want to call Disney and ask if they have these for their doors. MANY hotels are starting to have kits for children with special needs and these are included. If Disney doesn't, they may be on their way to getting it soon.

    Typhoon Lagoon with Young Children

We liked Typhoon Lagoon best. They have Catch a Kiddie Creek and the boys both really loved that area. We also enjoyed the lazy river areas. We didn't even go to the larger attractions the first time we went- the kids were younger, and we had a wonderful day. The kids slept well that night...

    Typhoon Lagoon with Young Children

I wanted to add that I would AVOID the wave pool at all costs with children that small. It is intense :)

    Typhoon Lagoon with Young Children

Each of the water parks have a play area for younger children. We took both of our boy. The youngest they have been is 9 months old. In fact, they have been at 9 months, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. They LOVED them, between the younger play areas and the "Lazy Rivers," we had a blast. The smaller kids...

    Free Fall Dining?

We did the same thing for the 1st-10th. We are leaving for a cruise on the 10th. I am still hoping to nail down free dining for my parents!!

    Transgender on Disney Cruise

Who cares what anyone thinks. It is your vacation, please don't make yourself uncomfortable on your cruise trying to please anyone but yourself. Don't stress- I know women (who were born women) that could probably only pass for one about 90% of the time.

Be Our Guest Lunch Qs with Toddler

That was not our experience at all. We pre ordered, walked in, waited in line for about 5 minutes to pay, paid and found a seat, and waited about 10 minutes for our food.

Has anyone rented a cabana at a water park?

Hi! Has anyone rented a Cabana at a water park. We are considering it for our trip next year and I have a few questions. 1. Is there a recommended location to request at each water park? 2. Will the attendant get lunch, ect for you? If so, can you use the dining plan/snack credits for these...

    Airport transfers from port.

Then, I would ask them if they did it recently :) We have close to a year before we go, however, it is almost time to book our flights. I was considering using a different airline on my way home- if it was priced reasonably and meant I didn't have to drag luggage.

    Airport transfers from port.

I have seen that, but I have also seen something- and now I can't find it, that said that it was. That is why I was asking if anyone had actually done it. I figured if they had actually used onboard check in, they would know. And the above information is out dated, because American and US have...

    Airport transfers from port.

Hi. I am finding conflicting information regarding which airlines participate in airline check in on the ships. Has anyone flying Southwest participated in airline check in and baggage check on the ship, provided you have purchased the port to airport transfer- which we have? Thanks!

    Height Checks

Thanks!! He has a hard time standing still to be measured, so we will just have to see how tall they say he is and risk it. He is exactly 44 inches tall when he wakes up in the morning. But, not by the end of the day. I guess we will ride the tall rides first. :)

    Height Checks

THIS IS NOT A POST ON HOW I CAN GET AROUND THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS!! I AM NOT INTERESTED IN DOING THAT. I do have a quick question. We go to so many amusement parks they all start to run together. My son is 44 inches tall in the morning. He is not in the evening- Seriously, that is how close...

Disney with a 3 year old by myself. Any advice?

My son and I went alone when he was three. It was a blast. We had the best time ever. I recommend at least a moderate resort due to ease of the bus stops, ect. You will love it!!

Please remind me... I have mom brain.

I just got off the telephone with TSA- I didn't want to call too early. They were very helpful and someone from Nashville will be calling me prior to our flight.

Global and Verbal Apraxia - DAS pass

My son also has apraxia of speech and would not qualify based on that. He also has CP and a very severe airway diagnoses which limits his ability to walk and breathe at the same time. We use the stroller as a wheelchair option. If she won't use the stroller, you may just have to slow down the...

Disney Ending... Back to reality preparation

We eat everything we can before we leave. NOTHING is in the fridge when we get home. This time we are getting home late in the evening, so I will ask my mom to throw some milk in the fridge before we get home so I can, at least, give the kids some cereal the next morning without going to the...

Please remind me... I have mom brain.

He can get out of anything. The only way that he will stay someplace is of his own free will.
