I am a WDW veteran planning my first DL trip. Until recently and the advent of Fastpass + you were able to hold fastpasses at WDW beyond their expiry time and use them later in the same day without problems. Is that still the case in DL? Or do they have Fastpass + now too? Thanks!

I really wanted to be in the Mansions section so that's why I didn't book a preferred room and to be honest our location was quite pretty good considering how far some rooms are away from the main building. I guess what it comes down to is that we prefer a more concise building like AKL.

We were at Epcot for Illuminations and saw the same fireworks on our way back on the bus so it definitely wasn't that. They seem to have been coming from the area of Magic Kingdom but it's hard to tell on the bus.
