Just cancelled.

I am about to cancel Be Our Guest ADR for 7:45pm party of 5 on Wed. Feb 6. I was able to snag another cancellation from a fellow DISer. Hope someone here can benefit.

Thank You! Thank You! I just snagged it! After planning our trip three months ago, my husband did what husbands do, and threw a curve ball at me causing us to reschedule our trip! I didn't think I would be able to replace our BOG ADR and now I did. So excited!!

We went last year, and while this may be blasphemy, I did think it was a waste of time and money. I had told myself over and over again to wait until the day of to actually purchase the tickets, but then got all excited and bought the party tickets at the beginning of our trip. Wouldn't you...

If I book an ADR for 2:50, will I be able to order off of the lunch menu, or since it will likely take a few minutes to sit down, will I be forced to order off the dinner menu?

My husband doesn't think the discount outweighs the inflexibility of the tickets; i.e. inability to cancel and, from what I understand, paper tickets instead of the plastic ticket/key card. Since our kids are young, there will hopefully be more chances to benefit from the classes in the future...

Got it to work. About a $260 savings off regular tickets, but looks to be about $300 more than last year for 2 adults and 2 kids, 8 day park hopper. Still planning on doing the class, but won't be super sad if they sell out before I make a decision.

Why won't it work for me? It still says to check back for 2013 prices. Are y'all talking about DL?

...and I don't hold out hope the website will be updated over the weekend. Sigh.

Thanks! That's helpful and good news. Now I won't have to try and sign up my kids for different classes so DH and I can both score discounted tickets (if I ever get to sign them up). Tired of waiting.

Thanks for th info from the OP. Sounds like the "double tipper" made a server's day! Good to know there is no extra plate charge. Splitting an adult meal may be the way to go.

When looking through the new website for IE it gives choices for elementary, middle and high school, but no specific age range. However, when I look at the Homeschooler's page, the classes are broken down into age ranges. Any guesses if IE will be similar to 2012 in regards to age range groups...
