    Uber at Disneyland??

edit: Sorry - I read that as Uber from Hojo to the park. With the Uber app, you can get an estimate for your ride even if you aren't there. I just estimated $38-$50 for a 4 person Uber from LAX to Hojo.

    Hampton Inn and Suites, Anaheim

We stayed there last fall. I highly recommend using Lyft and Uber for your transportation needs. If I recall correctly, it cost us maybe $8-$10 including tip.

Mice Chat: Marvel Studios, Star Wars Land, MyMagic+

http://micechat.com/116178-miceage-disneyland-rumor-update-star-wars/ Looks like Marvel is moving forward to be placed north of ToT. MyMagic+ system to be pushed out via the Disneyland App. And assorted Star Wars Land info. I'm excited for the potential 2 firework shows per night. That...

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

I just watched the video I took of PtN and I was wrong, nobody is following the last float. Everyone is held back until the ropes are dropped. People move fast I guess!

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

That's the only thing I can think of. As soon as the last float passed, the street filled. Our vantage point of the parade route was staring at the Matterhorn. People to the left of us, behind us would not want to move because they already have a good spot. People further down the right...

A story of Disney Magic and the luck of a Chimney Sweep

It's amazing what kind of things can happen when you make an effort to be friendly to the CMs.

A story of Disney Magic and the luck of a Chimney Sweep

I wanted to share an experience from our trip this weekend. On Saturday, my group saw Mary Poppins and Bert walking through the hub. My friend says "I'm going to go shake his hand" and takes off. He says to Bert "I want to shake your hand." Bert replies "Yes you do." He shakes his hand and...

    Fantasmic! Viewing Area Locations

We saw F! on Friday with the River Belle Terrace package. We returned right at the return time window stated on the ticket by the....the uh...I can't remember the name. It's the place across from the Haunted Mansion exit where you can get bread bowls and it has a plaque of a fish hanging above...

Does Father's day have any positive or negative effect on crowds?

As I expected, Father's Day was not very busy. We were at California Adventure all day and the lines were pretty light. FP for Radiator Srings were available until about 2. FP for the first showing of WoC were available until about 5pm. On of the CMs mentioned that they were not allowed to...

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

On Saturday, our goal was to get a spot on the north east curb of the hub, right where the parade turns, and you are looking straight down the main walkway at Matterhorn. This was suggested earlier in this thread. We showed up at a little before 4 for the Soundsational Parade. Our spot was...

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

I'll be there Saturday and planning on camping out starting after Soundsational. I'll try and remember to report back.

Unofficial poll - if you had to choose only one view for the fireworks - Matterhorn and Castle OR Mainstreet Projections and Castle, which would people choose? I'm trying to plan my seating and I'm leaning toward the Northeast corner of the hub and missing the projections.

    River Belle Terrace Fantasmic Package

    1. I can't speak to this until this weekend 2. It is next to the Blue Bayou reserved seating. It appears to be basically in front of the old desert package seating. 3. I've been told by Disboards and by CM over the phone that reservations before 6:30pm get you the early show.

Ok thanks! I figured the CMs would be on to that. I think my group decided we need to just suck it up and wait. Not worth the risk to mis-time our exit or get ushered out because we are obviously loitering.

    World of Color Superthread

I'm really not trying to be difficult, but everytime I've gone prior to the 60th anniversary, they have a holding section starting like 90 min or so prior to the show and then they let people in to the viewing area. Prior to the 90 minutes, these holding sections would not exist so there is no...

I thought the blue and yellow FPs said to NOT show up until a certain time, preventing people from camping for hours on end?

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

About how far ahead of the 8:50 PtN are they telling people to stand and fill in space? We have a group of 4 and are thinking 2 people camp, and 2 people go enjoy the park. Can someone comment on what time the 2 people in the park should come back by before it gets too difficult to navigate...

    Fantasmic! Viewing Area Locations

I read that RBT allows you to request a show time no matter the time of your reservation. Is this confirmed to be the case or is like BB where if you want a late F! showing, you need to eat later?
