I always book room only with a significant discount, and find tickets with a discount too. Dining plan does not make sense since my daughter is considered an adult (she is 11) but eats off the children's menu at most places still. When you add it all up seperately, saves hundreds of dollars.

Just curious- with the new online dining res system, is there any penalty to hold a reservation and never show up? I am thinking there are lots of restaurants/times booked and not available to us but these parties may never show up- what happens then? Do they then take walk ins??

I was able to get a res for dinner at 4:05 or lunch at 1:10. Since the 4:05 time is technically dinner, but is early, wondering if I should just stick with the lunch here a different day at 1:10. What is the difference in portion size? will I be unhappy with the lunch size? need to decide...

i already have a deluxe booked with 40% off thru disney special offers so does not help me, but a 40% discount on the moderates or values is HUGE!! they never offer that!

I think it is much better, you can search by location and lunch or dinner and it brings up all available restaurants and times- saves alot of searching time!
