FL Res rates for middle of March??

I have a FL resident season pass so I can use BRP or FL resident. I just went over xmas and POR was $99 FL resident and $94 BRP (both before tax). So you do save a little with BRP, but the cancelation policy is much better for FL resident. I used the FL resident rate. I went for four nights...

Does anyone remember what rates where at the Swan

stayed over labor day week-end for $99. This was a special rate here on the DIS. I have never seen it this low. I don't think the rate came out until late summer. Dreams Unlimited will reduce your rate if you book and a lower rate comes out. I usualy get a teach rate of around 150 or so...

    Swimming/hot tubbing at Christmas

It really depends. We do get some cold weather her in FL from time to time. But it usually just lasts a few days. So if you stay a whole week, chances are there will be a couple warm days. Tipically we get a cold front that lasts a few days then it is warm again for a few days before the...

    PC or Swan/Dolphin

Never stayed at PC, but have stayed at other value resorts and Dolphin a few time. I also have 5 in my family and was told I had to stay at Dolphin. The max a Swan is 4. I guess the rooms are a very little bit smaller. I am not a big fan of the value resorts. The Dolphin is much better. It...

    Disney hotel for 5 people

Thanks for the help. I thik I will just stick with POR and Dolphin for now. My wife is a teacher so the Dolphin is a reasonable price. We did stay in a value resort a few years back and my wife was not a big fan. When the kids get bigger we will need two rooms, but for now one works fine. I...

    Disney hotel for 5 people

Which resorts accomodate 5 people? It is me my wife and three kids 5, 7, and 9. We have stayed at PORS and the Dolphin. I tried the Swan once and they said we had to go to the Dolphin. I thought they were the same, but apparently the Dolphin's rooms are bigger. Do any of the other moderates...

    Surrounding Hotels at Universal?

I agree about priceline. It is great as long as you can live with the restrictions. We have stayed on-site the past 7 or 8 times since FOTL is so nice, but the rates are high this year. I used priceline probably 10 times in the disney area and always had a nice hotel. Just stay with the 4...

    hotel reservation link

I saw on this site one time a link to where you could book universal on site hotels and put in a discount code. You could put in AAA or APH or some other codes and get the discounts if available. I know you can just call the hotel, but I check rates often and it would be nice not to need to...

    November

We have stayed the past couple thanksgiving week-ends and will we back the Friday and Saturdat after Thansgiving this year. It is crowded, but we stay on site. With FOTL it is managable. The weather is great that time of the year and it is a good time to go with my kids being out of school...

Probably no big discounts right after Christmas, but call and try. I got the entertainment rate of $110 at RPR for one night Saturday Dec 20th about a week ago. So you never know until you call.

Is Royal Pacific Hotel A Good Place To Stay

I have stayed there a few times and really like it. I would try for the entertainment rate. I am planning to go that week-end as well. I went last memorial day week-end and got the entertainment rate of $125 for HRH, RPR is $110. I just stayed one night. I was not able to get Saturday night...

How to save $$$ on parking?

I am a annual passholder and know we don't have to pay for parking at the parks. But I still am charged to park at the hotels. Can you leave your car in the parking garage overnight and just walk to the hotel? I usually never yuse my car while in the hotel.

I booked RP for $110 March 25-28. I was told they did not have discounts for HRH yet. I did not ask about PB.

    HRH Entertainment Rates?

I called today and was able to get the $125 rate in May, but they said it was not available in March. She said it was just not up for March now, but probably would be up later. I think it might be since March is busier with spring break they are waiting and might not offer discounts then. I...

POR vs Poly (vs CR?) for convenience, value, kid-friendliness?

WE have stayed at all three. I like Poly best, but my kids like CR the best. They really liked the monorail going thriugh the building, the game room, and Chef Mickeys. POR is good if money is an issue. But having the monorail is real nice with kids.

Is "All Star" ok and which one should we choose?

I really think the differnce in price for a moderate level resort is worth it. I just think they are much nicer than the all stars and not that much more in cost. Especially if you get a code from mouse savers or a FL resident or AP rate..

Which onsite Hotel for one night stay?

I also wanted just one night on a Saturday. I was told RPH and HRH had two night stay minimums so PBH was my only choice. I don't know if this was just for a Saturday night.
