    MVMCP Solo?

I agree; also a solo female and I find WDW is the best place to be. Always find someone to strike up a conversation with, if I want, and if I want quiet time to myself can do that too. Definitely stay on property. They take safety as seriously as making sure all guests have fun.

    Air flight & Vertigo

My vertigo during air travel was helped by using "Earplanes", a type of ear plug that helps to equalize the pressure in the inner ear, I believe. Many drug stores have them. Didn't completely eliminate my symptoms but lessened them considerably. I prefer Bonine to Dramamine, doesn't make me as...

    Funniest pet names?

I like that! My 3 legged cat is named Weeble. Knew another 3 legged cat named Ilean. and a 3 legged dog named Peggy. None have been "handicapped" at all.

**SOLO Central - WDW & DCL**

Just 2 weekends ago got the chance to visit the newly redesigned Test Track and it is great! Being able to design a car is fun, then competing against the others in your vehicle in performance, economy, etc. is a bonus. They did a great job with it, IMHO. Last weekend had a short visit to...

How are croweds first week of Dec compared to summer crowds?

To me, the first week of December is one of my fave times to go. Weather is much cooler, crowds are much lower, than summer. I do avoid the Magic Kingdom on the parade taping-Saturday but that's a small concession to make. The holiday decorations are up, and love to visit the different resorts...

Never saw the original Tiki Room til this trip

Kaligal, I was wondering who to thank! Saw the "Under New Management" version once and never went back, I'm also not a fan of the GG whine. When there earlier this week, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it returned to the original concept.

Does anyone do wdw slowly and relax?

This is my favorite way. I try to avoid going with people who have to go, go, go every minute, it's just not fun for me. When I'm on vacation I don't want a "to-do" list! For me, being able to enjoy the details WDW does so well keeps me coming back, and is a main reason I go solo alot. It...

What order to ride things in at Hollywood Studios?

My only rule for DHS is to ride RnRC several times, but it must be BEFORE I eat. You can imagine why. ;)

Best Restaurant to end the Vacation?

A lot depends on ages of your party, are you looking for lunch or dinner, are you visiting a park that day, do you want in or out of a park? In my case (2 adults on a girlfriend's road trip), on our final day we planned to leave mid-day (driving home) and weren't going to a park. We slept in...

Question about the changes to the Kilimanjaro Safari

Have you considered taking your grandparents to lunch at Sanaa at AKL/Kidani? You will have a view of the savannah with giraffe, zebra, and other animals. It will also be in a comfortable air conditioned restaurant and they can enjoy a great meal.

Quite possibly the silliest newbie question ever... (re: entering Disney)

SapphireMarie, not sure if this will help, but here's a link to a general map of WDW property. It might help you see how it's all laid out in relation to each park? http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/propertymap.htm I envy you, going the first time, it will be magical. I still cry a little...
