Need Saratoga Springs GV Photos and info

Hi all! I have been away from the boards for awhile. Tackled some health issues and celebrated my oldest DD's wedding. Now we are back to trip planning - and playing with fun banked points. We will be 6 adults, we are considering staying at a GV. Anyone have any good, recent photos of a...

Just back from a great trip

Group of 6 adults - stayed in a BLT two bedroom. We had a theme park view, but were on the 5th floor, so we didn't think the view was that great. Other than that, the room was great. It was DH and I, our two daughters (20 somethings), the oldest's fiance and my mom. I use an ECV so it was...

How do I upgrade tickets (United Vacations deal)?

I purchased 5 6 day Parkhoppers for our upcoming March trip. I would like to upgrade one of them to an Annual Pass (DVC Gold) and the other 4 to 8 day tickets. What are my options for doing this?

The Broadway show thread where we discuss all things Broadway

I took my mom to NYC the weekend before Christmas and we went to see Beautiful (and the Rockettes). It was a really good show. Really good. It was a short trip and just makes me want to go back!

United Vacations ticket offer- same as southwest

All done & linked. Now I just need to know the best way to upgrade these to either the Gold AP (just one of them) or to 8 day Parkhoppers. Can either of these things be done without going to the parks? I won't be able to may FP+ for all my days if I can't upgrade.

United Vacations ticket offer- same as southwest

I just got my 3rd email, but it just has a single bar code and references a single reservation number - but it should be for 5 adults (amount paid $1800+). Am I missing something or is there a way to add this to MDE?

United Vacations ticket offer- same as southwest

Just purchased. I waited on the SW offer because I had a Chase Sapphire card on its way and I wanted the purchase to count towards my bonus miles qualification. I was so sad when I logged onto Southwest Vacations and saw their offer was no longer there today. Thanks for posting this - I have...

how have peoples 7th month booking been working out?

I booked a BLT Theme Park View at a bit past 7 months. I was able to get all but one of my nights right in the middle of the trip. I've booked a back-up at our home resort and have that last BLT night waitlisted. Our trip is mid-March (Spring Break time for many schools around here), but I am...

Uber from the resorts to the parks - any experiences?

I'm actually considering this for trip to Niagara rather than renting a car. I don't know if I want to hassle with driving over the border or not. I travel for business all the time (weekly on average) so a rental for vacation is essentially free with the free days I've built up, but I am all...

Have You Ever Been Caught Up In Family/Friend Baby-Naming Drama

Not here. All the men on my side of the family seemed to be named Joe. All the men on dh's side of the family seemed to be named William. I had two girls. :rolleyes1 - both sides of the family had Anns and Ruths, but we went with names we liked that went with our last name and there were no...

    If you go to WDW

We have been to both, but WDW is a vacation for us and Disneyland is more of a long weekend and/or a trip to see family. I like both, but I feel like I've escaped more at WDW. Distance is pretty much the same. It is easier for us to use our DVC points at WDW also.

How do you handle drop-in company and do you drop -in

Mine haven't move out yet (or rather they moved out and moved back in when the returned to college for advanced and/or additional degrees....another story but we are happy to have them here), but, no, I wouldn't mind if my daughters dropped in. if they brought people with them - including...

Where to go when you don't want to go anywhere else....

DH's family is from there, but it has been a long time since we've visited. Last time we visited the gardens my youngest was in a stroller - she's 24 now!

Where to go when you don't want to go anywhere else....

We were actually booked to go to Las Vegas this weekend but had to cancel due to a family member's illness. I think of Vegas as more of a long weekend trip, but we do like and go every couple of years or so.
