Oh my gosh, the vegetarian sushi roll here was AMAZING. Best sushi I've ever had, and I've had sushi from lots and lots of places. Definitely get this! I wish I had good pictures of it for you, but mine turned out too dark.
Haven't been here in a while but I thought I'd pop in and let you all know that there is a very exciting post on the Disney Parks Blog today about changes to the Food and Wine Festival.
There is now a TERRA Marketplace which will be offering up some vegan options! Hooray! One of them include...
Yeah, the food here is pretty good. Both times I ate here, it was without ADRs and because we just couldn't eat another sandwich. The veggie pot pie was really, really surprising. Love LTT!
I see you had a run in with a rude, over zelaous vegan. I'm sorry that happened. And from time to time, it does happen. But you wouldn't believe how many aggressive, rude and in-your-face omnivores I have run into when they just HEAR that I am veg. I am not sure what causes them to go, "I like...
Just got back from Disney this week and...well we ate at a LOT of places! I don't think I'll be doing a full blown review this time because that was just too much work last time and I don't have that kind of times on my hands anymore, but I would like to touch on some of the ups and downs:
-...
LOL yeah, I mean I am not an advocate of violence either but I did say "Really?" to them, because that was just ridiculous. It was like being swept away by a river. I even said "Oh, excuse me" politely and they still kept ramming me down. I was really angry about it, to say the least.
Lol, I don't know if this one has been mentioned or not by someone else because I didn't go through the whole thread, but here's mine:
Last trip, we were exiting EPCOT after EMH in the evening and my husband and encountered a family of three with their arms linked. Since it was crowded, my...
I agree that the entire pavilion could use a refurb. I'm still sore about what they did to Figment. I don't hate EO, I saw it twice last October when I went but I highly doubt that I will be seeing it again next week unless my parents really want to check it out. I think I've heard that we won't...
I honestly couldn't really tell you what the most vegan-friendly places are, since this changes frequently. It really depends on the chef, however we have ALWAYS had lots of luck with Tusker House in the AK and Boma at AKL. I also hear that Sanaa is great for vegetarians and vegans. Good luck!
Absolutely do it! I actually emailed the Dietary Hotline and told them I couldn't do animal products and told them where exactly I was dining. I was able to get in touch with the chef at the Saratoga Springs resort and he was VERY helpful and told me that he could handle my request. The chef at...
Hi all! Wow, what a LONG thread for pick-a-pearl! Glad I found it, though. I only just found out about this the other day, so I was JUST curious...does anyone know what becomes of the oyster meat once it is shucked? Thanks in advance! :goodvibes
Yep! I definitely would and plan on it when we go in a couple weeks. I have the Babycakes books and their recipes are AMAZING. Can't wait to have a cupcake!
Okay, don't panic! The restaurants I've been to have been pretty accommodating. They may refuse to mark it on your ticket, but I also read before that when that happened to someone they just called again, got a different representative and they were happy to add it to their ADRs as a note. It...
As everyone has already said, the experience is what you're paying for. When I went in 2010, I was actually really surprised that I liked the food as much as I did. I suppose going in, I expected a lot worse but the food was pretty good the day I went! Good desserts, too. I would do it again...
