We're here now! Tomorrow is the end of our 5 day hopper. They closed the gates into DL at 12:45 today. This is our 5th trip, always over Christmas. This is the hottest and busiest we've seen it.

We've driven from BC to disneyland twice at Christmas time and haven't hit bad weather. We are again this year, knock on wood that it's good again this year.

I'm going in 19 days! I'll be 23 weeks pregnant! There's only a few big rides you can't go on. And in my opinion DL isn't about big rides, six flags is, DL is the experience. The environment. It's fun no matter! I say keep the passes.

We never have. We've always intended to be there at opening but never have. However we have little kids, and always stay until midnight :)

I'm sure I'll skip it. I wouldn't think about skipping pirates. It's not rough. Just a couple hills. But no straps. I think you'd be fine.

Another question. Radiator springs racers are on the restricted list. I have never been on it. Carsland wasn't finished last time we were there. I was talking to my friend who was just there and she didn't think it'd be a problem. Anyone have an opinion why it's restricted?

Out first ever trip there was Christmas Day 2003. It rained. All day. We bought ponchos for the kids. We were soaked. But the next day when it was beautiful and tons more people, we were wishing for rain lol. It was so nice not having so many people! So much is covered anyways. Just have fun!

Are Disney dollars just what they sound like? $1 for $1 that can only be used in the parks? Where do you get them before getting to DL?
