    Foiled again by FoP FP+....

We are in FL...Pasco County, so we are just over an hour away from WDW. Lots of people still get AP's and plan one day trips or mini-weekend trips. FYI-schools get out May 25th-right at Memorial Day weekend this year. Not sure if the Orlando area schools are similar, but locals might be...

    Epcot RD strategy

We are staying a Beach Club, so we’ll enter from IG. We currently have a FP+ for Soarin’ 9:25-10:25 with a Living with the Land FP+ immediately after, so definitely want to hit Soarin’ closer to the end of our FP+ window. Park opens at 9am Not sure my whole party wants to do FEA, but assuming...

    Birthday Restaurant Recommendations for 7yo

I agree that Hollywood Studios will probably be a favorite park. My kids love 50’s Prime Time. Your “cousin” (server) will undoubtedly make your son king of the table! Other fun ideas - Teppan Edo in Japan in Epcot was a fun hibachi experience we did for my son’s birthday at about that...

    NYE Questions and Strategy

Howdy! My DH, DS (15), DS (14), and D (12) will be starting our AP's over New Year's. We are splurging with a stay at Beach Club so we can have walking access to 2 parks during this crowded time. Our trip is 12/30 - 1/2. It will be our first trip to the World over NYE but we had AP's 2015-2016...

At what time do you have dinner?

Look at your vacation days and schedule when you want to see any nighttime shows/fireworks. You may want to just grab a quick CS beforehand on those days and use your TS meal at breakfast or lunch since a lot of restaurants may be closed when the evening shows are over and you get transportation...

At what time do you have dinner?

Agree with minniegirl19. Restaurants at Disney Springs may also have late night seatings or you could eat at one of the lounges there or at a resort after the nighttime show. Have a magical trip!

Epcot must have Snacks, QS & Adult Beverages

I haven't tried all the Epcot QS, but I do recall the guacamole and chips at La Cantina de San Angel (walk-up CS in Mexico on the water).....the guacamole was delicious!

Best and Worst - Table Service @ Disney Springs

We LOVE the rooftop terrace of the Coca-Cola store, as do our kids! Great view, too! Wasn't impressed with QS Morimoto. It was okay, but we had a long wait. I did enjoy TS there. I would give the inside sushi bar a try-Isn't that a separate area? Our Raglan Road experience was bad. Food was ok...

    AK itinery - please critique

Our fav QS is Harambe Market but I think they open at lunch. There is a stand with giant cinnamon rolls, muffins, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. However, if you need frequent meals, grab something at hotel in your room before bus. Then, another bite after FoP.... I think you can always head...

Rain on Thursday for magic kingdom...last minute tips?

Agree about waterproof sport sandals! Other tips: -Bring a sandwich bag for phones. Good to tuck them into an extra layer of protection. -Use the lockers or leave purse/backpacks and extra gear at hotel. I was caught in a downpour between bus and entrance. I shoved my purse under my jacket but...

What do you always plan to do but never accomplish?

The aquarium area is fabulous. If you ever get caught in rain at Epcot, head there! But, totally worth exploring anytime. We have been to lots of aquariums, and this is a favorite! Took up fishing since moving to FL, so we enjoy trying to i.d. the fish!

    June 3-June 10

Only been a FL resident for 2 years, but the real humidity seems to start later in June, so you may get hot but not so humid (crossing fingers). If the summer showers have started (we are in desperate need of rain right now!), there are great places to go in each park to wait out the rain...
