We sailed 6/12 on the Dream and the adult pool area was our favorite place to hang out on the cruise. Yes, sometimes it was crowded around the misting area, but on our sea day we didn't get there until around noon, and the CM's brought new loungers off of the top deck to accommodate us when we...
Hi Everyone!
We got home late last night (after a few days on Anna Maria Island and Bradenton FL), and have spent the morning cleaning house and doing laundry. It was very evident that there was a teenager home alone for a week when we left!! :rotfl:
The cruise was AMAZING...
2 more hours and I'm officially ON VACATION!! :cool1::woohoo: :banana:
Then - DD and I are going to get our Mickey and Minnie heads painted on our toes :cutie:
and then packing!!! :yay::yay:
We leave for the airport in 27 hours!! :dance3:
Maho Beach was one of our very FAVORITE stops. :) The bar/restaurant right on the beach is wonderful - I stood beside it and filmed the planes flying in. We went as part of a tour, and so I can't comment on the transport JUST to this beach, but I've heard it's fairly easy to get taxis there...
I did the wine package on our 7-night, as the lone wine drinker. I think you will enjoy the convenience of the wine package - they can open a bottle or serve from a bottle you started at ANY place that serves wine on the ship. The cost is better than the by-the-glass price if you drink it all...
Question for recent Dream Passengers :)
Could you tell me your experience booking once ONBOARD for Palo? The recent 5-day navigator says bookings are taken in the restaurants between 1-3, and lists a number to call.
Can you tell me if you went TO the restaurant onboard, (or somewhere else)...
I have relaxed a bit with the packing fury - all clothes /shoes are ready to pack (of course I'm packing 3 times as much as anyone else :rotfl:)
Magnets are done, shoe organizer is replenished with essentials, FE has arrived :yay: FE goodies are in process... :rolleyes1
Next comes...
I'm not sure! I saw a couple different trip reports with conflicting info - one said there was a table in /near the atrium taking Palo/Remy ressies and then another where someone made their ressies by phone from their room between 1-2 pm or something? :confused3
I'm going to look again...
I just read a thread posted about the different tastings on board -- it looks like the "Mixology" especially is very limited and best to book right away upon boarding..
:yay: Oh thank you so much for your review! :worship:
We will be on the Dream soon and you have really made me more excited than ever!!
It sounds like DCL is working very diligently to resolve any service issues that seemed to be a problem before. :thumbsup2
Irene, nice to "see" you and your family! :)
Here's one from our last Disney cruise.. :cloud9:
This pic makes me realize how much the kids have grown!
I am totally HOOKED on Zumba! :dance3: I go every chance I get.. it's sooo much fun. :) I was hoping they would start a Zumba class on the Dream since it's so popular right now.. :confused3
My DD (Rhee) is also 11 and starting middle school next year too! :yay: She would LOVE to have some kids her age to hang with on the ship. I know there are a few others here, too. They should meet! :thumbsup2 My kids were 10 and 7 on our first Disney (Magic) cruise, and they LOVED the clubs.. DD...
