I think it depends on which resort you want to go to. We stayed at OKW in May and my husband ran into a coworker at the pool there- they were staying at Shades of Green and remarked that they had tried several DVC pools during their stay.. and that was the end of spring break for many k-12 schools.

As long as everything matches for her (passport, reservation, etc) it will be no problem. Plenty of women keep their maiden name. Plenty of couples do not marry and their kids have mom's last name. it's not up to the cruise line to determine who is related to who. If her names don't match...

We had planned on arriving there at 2 but we got there at 12:30. We were on the ship by 1:30. It looks very daunting when you get there, there are tons of people everywhere but the lines move fast and you can board quickly.

hmmm, that's a tough one. Feb might have some nice sunny days but probably not pool weather. AKL is a really nice place to just relax, do some people watching, reading, hanging out with the animals. You could also go and tour the other resorts, I have always wanted to just go and walk around...
