    so disappointed in Animal Kingdom

We just got back from WDW. Good trip but Animal Kingdom seemed really run down. Lots of the buildings had old flyers posted on them and the stucco siding pealing off. Some of the walk way didnt match. Some looked like old bricks others were cracked concrete

Hoyer patient lift in a value resort room?

Just a follow-up. Our hoyer lift worked out nicely at a value resort standard room. It took a little trail and error but there is plenty of room. First we would put the murphy bed up. Then lift our our son from his wheelchair to the fixed position bed. Plenty of room to maneuver. We then stored...

    online check-in with gift card

We are arriving on Friday Dec 22. I imagine the lobby will be very crowed, so we are planning on using the online check-in and I have a couple questions. We have a room only reservation. 1. If we use online check in, will we get a text with our room number and that our room is ready? If so, do...

Are you still allowed to Resort hopping (visit other resorts)?

We're planning a trip later this month. A big part of our trips are to visit other resorts, especially during the holidays. I just read an article on Goggle news that stated they are restricting guests from other resorts from entering unless you have a dining reservation. Is this true? I would...

Hoyer patient lift in a value resort room?

yes, I meant Murphy bed. In the past we've had 3 people in a standard room with a wheelchair. I would lift my son from his chair to the bed. But, I think those days are over. My thoughts now are to leave the Murphy bed in the up position and carefully maneuver the lift between the table and...

Hoyer patient lift in a value resort room?

wasn't planning on an accessible room. There are 3 of us. My son is in a wheelchair and we were going to get a Hoyer lift to lift him from his wheelchair to the bed. Just wondering if it will be too tight

Hoyer patient lift in a value resort room?

Has anyone ever tried using a Hoyer style lift in one of the all-star room? Wondering if there is enough room. Maybe with the trundle bed in the up position you can lift the patient onto the fixed positioned bed?

    Any resorts have a lift/hoist?

I think you're right. A Hoyer rental may be the only choice. Just wondering how hard it is to use in a value room

    Any resorts have a lift/hoist?

Just wondering if any of the Disney resorts have rooms with a lift? I know we could rent a portable lift but they are hard to use in a tight space. We would prefer a value or moderate resort.

    more mosquitos?

Past trips we were amazed at the small amount of mosquitos at Disney World. We were told Disney goes to great lengths to control the bugs. But our trip my whole family had lots of mosquito bites. Maybe another cost cutting measure by WDW?
