We just got back from WDW. Good trip but Animal Kingdom seemed really run down. Lots of the buildings had old flyers posted on them and the stucco siding pealing off. Some of the walk way didnt match. Some looked like old bricks others were cracked concrete
Just a follow-up. Our hoyer lift worked out nicely at a value resort standard room. It took a little trail and error but there is plenty of room.
First we would put the murphy bed up. Then lift our our son from his wheelchair to the fixed position bed. Plenty of room to maneuver. We then stored...
We are arriving on Friday Dec 22.
I imagine the lobby will be very crowed, so we are planning on using the online check-in and I have a couple questions. We have a room only reservation.
1. If we use online check in, will we get a text with our room number and that our room is ready? If so, do...
Does the Wilderness lodge still have the walking trail to the campground? Last time we were there it was closed and there was some type of construction going on

wasn't planning on an accessible room.
There are 3 of us. My son is in a wheelchair and we were going to get a Hoyer lift to lift him from his wheelchair to the bed. Just wondering if it will be too tight
Has anyone ever tried using a Hoyer style lift in one of the all-star room? Wondering if there is enough room.
Maybe with the trundle bed in the up position you can lift the patient onto the fixed positioned bed?
Just wondering if any of the Disney resorts have rooms with a lift? I know we could rent a portable lift but they are hard to use in a tight space. We would prefer a value or moderate resort.
Past trips we were amazed at the small amount of mosquitos at Disney World. We were told Disney goes to great lengths to control the bugs. But our trip my whole family had lots of mosquito bites. Maybe another cost cutting measure by WDW?
