Are you on the dining plan? Because other wise they charge you upon booking at least that is the way they did it in 2007. This year since I am using the dining plan for CRT they did not charge me but took cc info for no shows.

No you don't need a park ticket for the party just the party ticket but the earliest you can get in with the party ticket is 4 pm. So if you want to get in earlier than that you will need to use a park ticket. See if you can change the ADR time to alittle after 4.
