Descendants 2 is airing July 21st - we are getting off the Magic that day after 12 night British Isles. I thought new releases were often shown on the ship a week before. My daughter is praying she can see Descendants while on the Magic - any experience?

Do men need sport coat for dinner? I can't remember - and hearing overall attire is more casual for Alaskan cruise.

Getting excited. What time did the ship start boarding? And the tickets for character meets is new since we last cruised. Thrilled they are doing something as the long lines was such wasted time. How does it work - where/when do you get tickets and does it give you a time to report back?

This is just the feedback I wanted-I know it would be great experience "after" just hoping my kids can appreciate it all. And I agree comforts of Disney ship is why I think it would work. I will e asking more questions. Our alternative is to do Alaskan DCL itinerary next summer & save Europe.

Are the doors on Fantasy metal - ie do the magnets stick? I have a collection from trips on Magic & made some for FE gifts. Getting on the Fantasy this Saturday (woo hoo) and just dawned on me that maybe the doors on new ships are different and they won't stick to doors.

There is only 1 other ship in port that day (I checked) & native sports does note require cc deposit so no risk there. Mostly looking for feedback of which tour company offers better experience - I prefer smaller personal service over big DCL tour - but maybe not? Anyone have input?
