I would make your first request a room with a sliding door! Depending on location, rooms with the blinds may be okay in the morning regarding sunlight, but ours was not and got full sun as soon as it came up. And our kids were on west coast time so 6:30AM was just too early!

I found the floors to be clean BUT when we came in from the pool there was always sand trapped in clothes, bathing suits etc that made its way to the floor so bringing wipes may not be a bad idea.

This was a room with a daybed, it seemed on the larger side. The cast member told me that most of the BC rooms now have the Venetian blinds, unfortunately.

It wasn't a problem at all - the rooms all had blackout curtains. The YV rep told me that there have been a number of complaints about that, so I do hope they address it at some point bc we love the BC!
