    any vegetarians/vegans with DLP experience?

Annette's veggie burger is really great, they don't have the camembert salad any more (so only 1 option). I remember King Ludwig's having a veggie option (though I wasn't particularly impressed with that place). Earl of Sandwich is delicious, but maybe not so suitable for dinner. Don't forget...

Busy Day in August - Which Park First?

Hi Tommy, My thoughts are: excellent plan, you really thought it through. FP for BTM is a good idea, they tend to be gone quickly. Same goes for ToT, so you're probably going tot have to queue there then (in my experience, queues are either 120mins or 30mins, so it's a matter of keeping your...

    Home yesterday, highs and lows

Thanks for sharing, Ms Poppins, it sounds great - the way you describe it, I really want to go again :daisy:! Very informative too. In my humble opinion, the forum has become quite "business like": just a place to bluntly ask a bunch of questions. Nothing wrong with asking questions, of course...

    FP Times Strictly Enforced?

In my experience: strict in terms of starting time, not so strict in terms of ending time. E.g. a fast pass valid from 12-12.30 cannot be used before 12, but at 12.35, you should be fine.

Coming in May: €90 for all day fast pass

No No No indeed. I get these questionnaires from Disney by e-mail, and a couple of weeks ago there were questions about this subject: how much would you be willing to pay for all FP/1 day or 1 attraction/1 day etcetera. I answered zero euros every time (or something like that), but here it is...

Crush Coaster compared to other Coasters

To be honest: Crush is a pretty hefty ride... it is faster and more intense than BTM, and definitely more intense than SDMT. It also twists and turns around, which makes it faster and makes that you get "disoriented". So... maybe it's a bit much for your kids... I don't know your children, but I...

Paris After Disneyland - should we pre-purchase our RER tickets?

I don't know what time of year and what time of day you're planning to take the RER, but it might be a good idea to buy your tickets the afternoon before your departure date (or something like that). In morning rush hour, I've experienced long and slow queues for the tickets vending machines...

    Standard meal vouchers face value

Hi Meg, we just got back from our stay at Cheyenne and had the free standard half board. The face value is 28 euros each. But alcoholic beverages can be a problem: at Annette's, they were charged separately because "face value" cannot include alcohol (???). At the Steakhouse and our OTHER...

    St. David's Welsh Weekend?

Thank you gavvy, I'll be looking out for the Welsh colours and stands (and daffodils??)!

    St. David's Welsh Weekend?

Hi all, Quick question for the DLRP veterans out here :) We're visiting DLRP in a couple of weeks. I got a great "pre-25th-anniversary offer", so we're going March 7-10 (Santa Fe). I'm assuming it will be reasonably quiet in the parks then, but I did notice a "St David's Welsh Weekend" for...

    Back yesterday, highs and lows

Hi, sounds great! We're going in 3,5 weeks' time, and your short report really makes me wanna go! Now!! :thanks:

    Vegan Food

I agree with beachta1: I'm a vegetarian, and I'm OK in the parks, but most vegetarian choices are cheese-oriented (and therefore a no-go for vegans). Maybe the veggie burger at Annette's is an option? And McDonald's, I suppose. Other than that: bring your own... Or buy at the hypermarché close...

    Tips for train into Paris

Hi Toria, Travelling to Paris from DLRP is easy. But plan ahead. First: metro maps: http://www.ratp.fr/fr/ratp/c_23590/plans-metro/ (bottom of page) DLRP is east of Paris (and east on the map), on the RER A (red) line. The RER is like a train, and from the RER you switch to the metro system...

    DLP - solo and offsite?

I've done this (solo trip for a day combined with -in my case- a business trip to Paris), and it's great fun, go for it! The thing is, though, that hotel rooms for 1 are terribly expensive. So I stayed in Noisy-Champs, which is a suburb of Paris with a RER train station, it was a couple of...

WDW Vetran considering a DLP visit, any info welcome.

We went in September a couple of times; from 2nd week September onwards, it was always a lot cheaper than high season (in September, even the French kids are back in school again - except weekends obviously, so avoid those). September is also great because the summer shows/parades etc. are still...

    Another first timer question

Hi! Packages for DLP are very different from those in WDW. Mainly cheaper! If you plan to do (almost) only Disney on your stay, then a package is almost always cheaper, because tickets for the days of your stay are always included (unlike WDW). Booking a separate hotel or apartment is probably...

    Ratatouille ride vs.........

Agree with previous posters: GREEN Mission Space, Spiderman, Shrek, Transformers, no problem. For Minions I'd go with the special "stable seating" they have. Simpsons I'd skip too. The Harry Potter ride is too good to miss, but if I were you, I'd try out Spiderman etc. BEFORE you try HP. Oh, and...

Has anybody used DLP-Kaarten to buy annual passes?

Hi, I don't know if it helps, but I checked out this website and they're on holiday Jul 2nd-29th. They do send out tickets, but it may take a little longer, it says. Since this is all written in Dutch on the website, and I don't know if you are Dutch (I am)... so that you know :duck:

    September Crowds?

Hi Vakamalua, The crowds in September are fine imho - very do-able, EXCEPT WEEK ENDS. As many of the summer shows, parades etc. continue until the end of September, it seems like many French want to take advantage of that in their free week ends (kids are in school in September, even in...

Four days in France...which days of the week to do DLP?

I agree with Carrie_Cat; do the parks on (some of the) weekdays, avoiding Saturday, when 50% of the Parisiens seem to be at DLP :scared1: One more thing: you might want to check out "closures and refurbishments". I looked at http://www.dlpguide.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/ (lovely...
