    Favor of those in Epcot!!

i wonder if I could appeal to those of you there now or will be in the next week. I'm looking for the prices of two items. One is the mickeys magic greenhouse located in the land pavilion. They're usually on the counter by the check in to the behind the seeds tour or on the counter by the...

Frolicking in the Rain- A solo trip report 9/26-10/2

Ready for another one GravityGirl? Saturday the 27th, Epcot day 1. Some stupid part of my brain decided it'd be a solid idea to set my alarm for 7:40am. I have no idea why. It was way too early and I ended up sitting around the room for a bit before I left. However what I should have...

    Narcoossees or LeCellier??

It sort of depends. If you take the specifics of the menu out of the equation then Narcoossee is better. It's a nicer atmosphere and less cramped. I enjoyed Le Cellier but it is not a must do for me. If you put the menu back in, it just depends what you prefer, meat or seafood. I won't touch...

Le Cellier worst meal of trip

You're reading what you want into my response. You never said you only ate one bite of the dessert, you never said that you had checked the menu. I was suppose to know this from your first post? My original response still stands. You could have asked for a different dessert. You also could...

Almost 3 year old with a 2 broken toe

Yes open toe shoes is a great idea too. You may find that socks become constricting on her feet through the day too. You could take a small blanket or honestly even a towel with you to cover her feet if the shoes and socks come off due to swelling, or to warm the tootsies up after you ice them.

Almost 3 year old with a 2 broken toe

Think of it this way, you could get the tag and use it where you feel you need to which may be a lot or maybe not, or you could not get it and run the risk of getting stuck in a situation where it'd be really beneficial and be SOL for the time being.

    Waiting in lines with toddlers?

The interactive lines arent really that engaging though. For a slightly older child maybe, and the Haunted Mansion one for anyone is fine. Most of the things you have to stand by for a minute or so to get or appreciate, and its not like they are ever present so that you're playing the entire...

Do the characters mind? *~Best character interaction stories~*

Butthead example- When I approached the line to the Jack and Sally meet and greet at the Halloween party, the CM at the front of the line was dancing to the music they had playing through the park. If you've ever been to the party, you know its more dance music or dance mixes of things rather...

Do the characters mind? *~Best character interaction stories~*

I think more often than not, they'll take their cues from you. I embrace my inner butthead while I'm there and I will act/play/dance along to whatever. The only reason I told them they should move along at Crystal Palace was that there was a ton of kids at the tables past me. I think they can...

Do the characters mind? *~Best character interaction stories~*

It was adorable, but in my head I was sort of picturing Pooh going "So she thinks she's too good to meet me huh? I'll show her!!"

Do the characters mind? *~Best character interaction stories~*

A couple weeks ago I planned a shopping trip to Target with a greeter and Minnie because Minnie liked my backpack, I danced with Buzz Lightyear, and had a 5 minute conversation with Winnie the Pooh. I was at Crystal Palace for breakfast, and told the first attendant that came over that it was...

    Portion sizes at BOG lunch?

I found the carved beef sandwich pretty sizable, but it was so good I managed to nearly finish it myself. If my fries would have been better I might not have packed away so much of the sandwich. There's pictures on my dining report "Can I do a dining report in one night". I'd say if you had...

PTSD and disney: fighting for assistance

Also if he's never been, he'll have no idea what might potentially trigger him. There are things that are plain and simply unavoidable while at Disney. You can never completely avoid crowds, you can never completely avoid loud noises... 2 very common PTSD triggers.

    Odd Solo Experience

Women rarely get the stinkeye for being solo. We're the cheerful friendly motherly/sisterly types or some such nonsense. A man going solo, people tend to see it as creepy, pedophilac, and weird. Its basically because we were taught by the media that a single man around that many children is...

Le Cellier worst meal of trip

Signature restaurants change their menus all the time. They only keep what the consider their core items, or signature dishes like the potato snapper at Flying Fish. If you didn't like the dessert, you could have asked for something else. No one forced you to eat it if you didn't like it. :confused3

how would you deal with this?

This is such a simple fix. Move the hoop. Regardless of if he's oblivious, passive aggressive or a unicorn with a grudge, it makes more sense for him to argue he can park in the street than you arguing that your kids can play on the street. It's stupid, its petty but if they're playing on...

    Beaches and Cream????

I'm not sure that's true about the counter, or maybe it was and isn't anymore? I had an ADR that I was earlier for, was by myself and made to wait until closer to my reservation time even though there were open seats at the counter.
