I have to admit that mine do not always wear helmets but they SHOULD. It is really a safety issue. As a nurse who has seen kids come in with concussions and head injuries helmets are a beautiful thing.

Personally as a mother you are the advocate for your child. Please do not allow anyone to make you feel like "hypochondriac mom" for trying to help your child. The truth is it is what any of us would in the same case.
