    Come on.............REALLY?

For that 2 grand a night you are still not guaranteed there are no bed bugs. So there is another reason I'll stick with my camper. If I hit the lottery and want high end, I'll buy a million dollar motorhome. For now my class C is just fine. Dan

Bring the dog? Don't bring the dog?

Just a thought (because of the title of this thread), dogs aren't allowed in the cabins. Keep the thought of the rental, but you may find the same thing. Dan

    Anyone stormed in?

A guy from Boston University on the news the other night here in MA said that Climate change would create bigger storms. He insisted that this was more proof of Climate Change than not. Great so my Palm Trees in MA when its 115 in the summer are going to die under 8 feet of snow in the...

    Anyone stormed in?

I have around 3 to 4 feet on the ground, the edges of my driveway have 5 to 6 foot piles. My snowblower can't get the snow high enough to get over the piles anymore. We got an ice storm and 3 to 6 inches coming tomorrow. We have had a snow storm every Wednesday for the last month or more...

Bring the dog? Don't bring the dog?

You can only use the fire pit if there is no fire ban on. They seem to happen a lot, but the folks that live in FLA can speak more to that.

Bring the dog? Don't bring the dog?

Just about any loop can be a pet loop if the pet loops at your site level are full. As long as you have told them you have the pet, then you should be fine. Dan

First trip to the fort and we are bringing our dog. Any suggestions?

We practiced with out dog, from the time he was 4 months old. We would be at a campground where we usually hung out at the site. We would pretend to leave and go over to our friends site, where we could still hear him. He only barks if he knows we are out side otherwise he knows we are gone...

    The pop-ups look very unappealing

We bought a little 18' TT and traded it in the next year for a 30' class C. Have had that for 3 years. I have started planning for the next bigger one in the next 2 to 3 years. It is a disease, but I love it. Dan

    Keep it friendly, please!

I don't read anything on the rest of this forum and I certainly don't post except on this board. I find it funny that given the way people are treated on the other parts of this board, the friendliest one I could find seems to get warnings a lot. These kinds of in crowds that can do anything...

Look at the vintage items I found

Tim this picture seems to be missing: "1978 Walt Disney World Resort Guide - Fort Wilderness Page 2 This is about a 25 page guide on all activities at Walt Disney World. Four pages relate to Fort Wilderness (2 per scan)" Great Site though, I was there all through the 70's, but I don't...

    its just too cold

Ah it ain't that cold, we start the camping season either the end of this month or beginning of next month. Cleaned the snow off the roof of the motorhome. Gotta get the toad brake and check the propane, then good to go. We are headed to sunny warm Freeport, Maine to shop at LLBean. Dan

    Dining To-Go Meals?

I'd go for the chicken. People here rave about it. I haven't had it because I'm stupid and ordered a pizza. They are basically frozen pizza's warmed up. They are not good in my opinion Ask TCD about the giddy up and go with cowboy beans :rolleyes1 Dan
