    Singles(& ex-singles who refuse to leave)Social Club: Amazingly, It's still 5o'clock!

So I usually post in the budget board but I'm here for a family wedding (offsite) and I am thinking I'll be super bored if I don't go to the parks. I haven't been to Disney since I was 10, I'm now 27 and in kind of like ehhh so I want to go alone just to kill boredom? I've done sea world alone...

Help me find a comfy bra!

Oh!!! And I was layig anywhere from $100-200 for a good bra when I first went to infancy and nordstroms. Now that I found bare necessities and bra stop I haven't paid more than 60 per Bra. Often times $40 or less. But I def would go get fitted at one if those physical stores first

Help me find a comfy bra!

I'm going to vote again to get re-fitted preferably at a nordstroms, intimacy or bare necessities store. Then shop online at somewhere like bar necessities or even bra stop, that one is in the UK but even with the exchange rate and shopping prices are much lower. Victoria's Secret puts me at...

    Obamacare success stories please

I work two jobs actually. In throne I am insured through I work for a larger company that is actually not in the best financial shape. So I was relieved to see this as from all conversations as most people I know continually scared me into believing my premiums would go up. Unfortunately I'm...

    Obamacare success stories please

I just received my 2014 benefit information today. My premium has not increased for health it vision, and has increased by only $1 per paycheck for dental. We also have more health plan options available. I'm counting that as a success story from where I am concerned as someone who is already...

    Purse party?

Purse party I've gone to was all knock off purses. But they also had real Uggs, different scarves and sunglasses. I grabbed a small wallet, two and two scarves. I think it was about $20 for those things and the ones I bought whereby claiming to be a name brand

"Proactive" removal of DD's wisdom teeth...what would you do???

I'd get rid if them now. I held off on mine for a while after I was told I should get them out. They caused migraines and other issues.

Explosions at Boston Marathon finish line

There's one photos that is just truly horrific and at first sight I thought "it has to be fake" and then I realized it wasn't when I saw it on various other sources and they were cropping the most horrific part out. I wasn't repulsed I was horrified and I just wanted to be able to be there to...

Does anyone own a Care Credit - Credit Card?

I have one. I was able to pay mine off before the 6 months and have no interest. I haven't closed it because I figure worst case medical emergency at least they usually offer 0% financing again. But if you are even a few days late they will bump the interest rates sky high. Not really your best...

New to the whole budget/debt snowball thing

I'm the same way too. With credit cards I get the bill every month, so if I start to rack up credit card debt I actually physically see how my spending has gotten out of control. When I have cash on me? I will spend on stupid things, because I don't think of it as "my" money. "My" money is in...

Good Lord, 97 month car loans introduced

A quick search on the internet as well as my own friends in real estate have assured me that while yes the amount of people paying cash for homes to occupy has gone up it's still not enough to be paying cash for a house as the norm. Those who were smart and or/lucky enough to put away money...

Good Lord, 97 month car loans introduced

More people aren't paying cash for homes to LIVE in. More home sales are paid in cash than there used to be. Those paying in cash are the ones who are investors, hosue flippers, and those buying rental properties. These are usually people who have enough money to pay cash for a foreclosure...

Good Lord, 97 month car loans introduced

I wasn't able to open the link either but I had a 7 year car loan for my first car i bought with an interest rate somewhere around 9%. It was a $13k car. I was just barely 18 and had no credit. My used car was so old and had lasted for so long that it was on its last legs and was smoking when...

Discovery Cove and One Ocean show

I did Discovery Cove and Sea World in 2009. I was in fact by myself that day, and it was July, so it was hot and the Sea world park was open later than I believe it is other times of the year. I arrived at DC at the recommended time but was still put at a 1:00 pm time slot(which ended up...

    DIY painting

I agree with this as well. I used Behr ceiling paint and had no issues, but as for the colored paint? I had behr in a blue color with the primer built in. Had to apply about 3 coats and it seems to be peeling up in around the edges. I used Glidden ceiling paint in another room but didn't...

    DIY painting

I just want to say I learned the Frog Tape brand painters tape was a thousand times better than Scotch Blue Painter's tape last year when I had to paint my basement apartment. I used so much more of the Blue painter's tape than I needed because it was terrible. Once I switched to the Frog Tape I...

    Zumba

I have the Zumba 2 video game for Wii and love it(but I don't play it enough). And I have taken an Aqua Zumba class at my gym, mainly because I'm not able to get there when the regular Zumba class is going on. But I also loved that.

    Changing banks?

I switched from Sovereign to a Credit Union last May and could not be happier. I absolutely love it. I actually see the interest, and they are super clear on the fees that I am responsible for (if any). Something that I didn't have with my Sovereign accounts.
