    Coronado or PO french Quarter?

I always say try something new. You never know what you'll like better until you try :)

    Compact Vs. Spread Out

Our personal opinion is the Port Orleans French Quarter and the Wilderness Lodge are the most compact. (and have queen size beds vs full)

Last week of Sept or 3rd week of Oct?

The only difference I know off the top of my head is the chances for cooler weather the third week of October....September is still pretty hot.

    Another stroller question !

It depends on the age of the children, if the children are over 3, then it's fine, under three I'd rent one from somewhere else or bring your own. They're not baby friendly at all, and as far as for a two year old, they can get out of them wayyy too easy! Also, they seem smaller than they used...

    swan or value?

Another vote for the Swan....I haven't stayed there but I stayed at the Dolphin and loved it. The location alone beats any value resort. But my main reason would be the bed. The Swan is a deluxe resort, so much nicer than a value like Pop or Allstars. (not that there's anything wrong with...

    TCD's Pre-Halloween 2010 Weekend Warrior Trip Report

As always, love your report...I just have one question, not really for you as much as just putting it out there...but how do cat liver 5 and others stay for so long? I've read other reports where it's mentioned people stay for months. Does Disney offer a discount for those that stay longer or is...

    Swan versus Dolphin

I've never stayed at the Swan, but love the Dolphin. Everytime I've priced them out, the Swan's been a little more expensive. The Dolphin has 24 hr food court area. We walked over to the swan lobby to check it out and thought the dolphin lobby was better. The beds were so comfy. (But I've never...

Planning a future trip - Would you choose Beach Club over a Monorail Resort?

If you had small children I'd say Monorail resort loops are the best, but for two sisters in their 40's I'm thinking you'd have more fun at the Beach Club-the bus ride to the MK shouldn't be too much of an issue b/c there's no squirmy kids to hold onto during the bus ride and there's more night...

Frequent Visitors: What do you do at WDW?

Our family likes playing putt putt golf at the course by blizard beach and going to the campfire sing-a-long at Ft. Wilderness. In October I've always wanted to try a hayride at Ft.Wilderness, but I never have.

Commute time to parks and preschoolers

Good luck with this one, it depends...everyone you ask will have a different answer for you. The actual bus time wait varies, you never really know what it's going to be. And the bus ride itself takes some time (depending on where you're staying and where you're going) We find it does take a...

    Reservations at WDW and Travelocity

if there's a phone number for travelocity call them and ask about the joining rooms, i don't believe you can do on-line check in though

disneystore.com they have limited park stuff, but they have lots of disney shirts :)

If you could only pick a few....

My first choice would be Boardwalk, but being you'll be close to the MK area resorts I'd recommend checking out the Wilderness Lodge.

    Anyone stay at POFQ lately?

My only complaint about POFQ is so many other people are starting to love it too that it can be harder to book :) For awhile we always felt it was a hidden gem, we love it so much. We don't mind the food court area, but there were times we took the boat to Riverside and ate at their food court...

Contemporary with a 3.5 year old?

the kids love the water parade that goes by, not sure of the exact time at CR, but around 9 pm. When you have young children and you plan on spending alot of time at the Magic Kingdom, there are no better resorts (IMO) than the ones on the monorail loop. It makes life so much easier on you...
