We were thinking about going in Sept or Oct (for MNSSHP) and my question is: if Disney were going to offer the FD, wouldn't they have done it by now since most of their guests are adamant about getting their ressies done?

lilmissbehaved, that is exactly what my plans are! I figured we would be up so early for breakfast that we would then eat lunch around 11-11:30 because all of our dinner ressies are for between 5 and 6. I believe this will work fine for us.

I thought of jotting down each restaurant's number with our ressie number so that I wouldn't have to use that ridiculous $4 info. I just hate the thought of possibly being penalized because of their own system, especially if I'm using it correctly by giving my party a sufficient amount of time...

You can choose one from www.magicalkingdoms.com. At DISboards, click on your login name, then choose "Customize Profile" then choose "Edit Signature", paste your ticker there. There's a thread in this forum where you can post just to see your ticker "in action".

This is absolutely true. If you want to go to more than one park on any given day, you must have park hoppers to do. For your last 2 days, you can always upgrade to park hoppers when you get to WDW. However, my understanding is that the cost for the upgrade is the same whether you buy park...
