Madelyn, my dh booked it over the phone I think. We did not have to attend a timeshare presentation. If you look Escapes! Galveston up on trip advisor you will find many reviews and pictures. For Galveston it was very nice! GL!

Yes, the beach at Escapes is very nice & clean. They also have a very nice pool & the condos have a washer & dryer which is a huge plus.

As far as lodging I would recommend the hotel at Moody Gardens or a condo at Escapes. Escapes is on the west end of the island and it's right on the beach (not across from like the hotels). We've stayed there before and it was very nice. Have fun!

Just keep it in the middle console or somewhere else w/in reach instead of attaching it to your keys.

lol, our dogs and kitty get bottled water too! We have well water that is not that safe to drink though and it taste nasty! I wish we had good tap water.

I checked and they carry Pinnacle for cats/kittens. Dry & wet. It is grain free and contains no by products. I may see if my kitty likes this because the local pet shop we were buying Merrick Before Grain from stopped carrying it. The next closest place that carries it is about 35-40...

Petco carries several grain free dog foods. Not sure about cat though. Check out their website. GL!

We were there the third week of Sept. 2007 and it was still hot. We have a trip planned for August and I am dreading the heat. Would love to get a pin code for November-December. We would reschedule in a heart beat! Have fun on your trip in Sept, fingers crossed you'll have a nice cool front...
