Westjet actually owed us seat fees from a forced flight change. When we arrived back in Vancouver after the cruise we still couldn't do on line check in but there was no line up at YVR and the clerk was so helpful. We arrived so early expecting a delay that we were able to grab an earlier flight...

We were 2.5hrs in line at WJ check in. We asked at WJ person to please rush us thru. Then there was an hour delay at the boarding gate. Then a half hour delay while we were on the plane. No ground crew. A great flight to Vancouver anyway.

Has anyone else had a message from Westjet saying, cannot do online check because fees are owed? In fact WJ changed one of our flights about 4 months ago. The new flight was $100 cheaper but we didn’t receive any refund? Can’t call them, the voice loop eventually just disconnects.

We cancelled one trip due to covid. I’m sorry that you went through this. If we both had not contracted Covid for a 90 day exception I’d think I’d be a real mess right now, leaving in 7 days! We are first timers too- Wonder to Alaska, I’m keeping good thoughts for your family trip!
