    A new rumor!

Point taken, and I do appreciate your sense of humor. Let's get serious here for a second. Explain to me why someone not wanting to stay at FW is in anyway "looking down on" or being "snobby to" a camper? Like I said, DW and I regularly go over to FW - Trails End, HDDR, etc. I'll sit...

    A new rumor!

Jeez, some people here have some real self-worth issues here! Making generalizations is worse than what you accuse others of. There are better ways to deal with an inferiority complex. I'm a VWL owner that loves FW. I've camped there in the past, and love to walk the camprgrounds...

    Yachtsman or Le Cellier

Yachtsman, it's not even a fair comparison. Kind of like deciding between Pop Century and The Beach Club. But as some one else mentioned, Shula's (Grand Floridian to carry the resort analogy) is a better choice. Best Wishes for a great anniversary!

Are they still doing the no saving seats at CS meals?

When we went in late-october, there was no seat saving being enforced. When we went back the week before Christmas they were enforcing the no seat saving at Cosmic Rays in MK. At actually worked pretty well. When we finally got our food (almost 20 minutes!) seats had opened up.

    Not Another Mug Thread? OMG!

One would just hope that the food service supervisor at WL has a little more insight into the subject than a bus driver. :thumbsup2

    No ADR's, No Problemo!

Okay, on a whim, you decided to make a quickie pilgrimage to the World, and it's too late to make any ADR's. Upon arrival, no luck getting in anywhere without a reservation. What to do? DW and I just got back from a week at VWL. While we had ADR's for Boma and Artist Point - and enjoyed...

    Not Another Mug Thread? OMG!

I really don't want to get into a discussion over morality here, but I do want to pass along a few observations from last week. Just got back from a week at VWL. While standing in Roaring Fork, I overheard the CM very politely informing a patron that the mug they had was not elligible for a...

    Tipping Questions - Luggage

We are DVC owners at VWL and BWV, we drive to WDW, and always have a ton of stuff with us. I let the guys unload the car. For that, I usually give them $10 - $15. We usually have seven to eight "items". Same tip for the guy who brings everything to the room. The CM's work for tips, do a...

    Artist Point? Your comments please!

DW and I try to dine at Artist Point whenever we stay at Wilderness Lodge. It is one of my favorite places at WDW. I would encourage you to try it. Please let us know what you think when you get back.

    Waitresses at 50's Prime Time

Love 50's Prime Time Cafe. If you are really as shy as some folks have reported, then don't go. It is what it is, and shouldn't be compromised by people who don't want to play. Now that sounds mean, but I am not trying to be so. To put it another way, it would be like riding Cali...

    Torn between resorts

Great Post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Question for all - what is the big deal with having to walk a certain distance? WDW has some of the most beautiful landscaping and theming that people just don't seem interested in slowing down and enjoying. We can all use the exercise! I realize there...

WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH kOUZZINA?

DW snagged a dinner reservation there six weeks out during Wine and Food. In fact, she has had zero problem making ADR's for our trip in three weeks during Wine and Food, as well as getting Hoop-Dee-Doo review the week of Christmas. Keep trying.

    Signature restaurant in park clothes?

I guess I just don't understand the big deal about putting on a polo shirt and a clean pair of pants (shorts are no problem). Sorry to hear your DH ruined the evening for you, but his attitude seems a bit immature. The hour or two of park time you lose to freshen-up for a meal that's going...

    Disney Letter Follow up

How about kudos to you for taking the time to send some positive feedback? I'm sure that was greatly appreciated. Maybe if we all took the time to send a "trip report" to Disney after our vacations, with both the positive and the negatives expressed in a rational, professional manner, maybe...

Best Steakhouse? Yachtsman vs. Le Cellier

Shula's > Yachtsman > Le Cellier Mercedes > Audi > Chevy I would ponder that Le Cellier's popularity is a function of the DDP and Free Dining. Those two plans will ultimately lead to its demise. It's become too crowded, too noisy, and the food is barely mediocre.

    AKL to Hoop-De-Doo

We have the exact same scenario in December, and are definitely driving. Otherwise, you are looking at at least 1.5 hours one way. That's a lot of park time, and needless anxiety.

sharing buses at YC/BC/BW a problem?

We own at both VWL and BWV, so we tend to tailor our vacation around the closest park. However, we always drive to AK. It's just too easy. We have taken the busses from BW to MK, and it is a bit of a ride. Don't know what your ticket status is, but when DW and I are staying at BW and...

    Signature restaurant in park clothes?

Interesting responses so far. If you think you will be a bit under-dressed, certainly a personal call, just where a nice polo shirt that day in the park. DW ALWAYS makes sure I have a Disney character polo to wear every day. I don't think I have ever worn a t-shirt to a Park. Not saying...

    Signature restaurant in park clothes?

As Disney has relaxed the dress code at most restaurants, and chooses to really not enforce it at any of them, unless you are wearing something really objectionable - like a t shirt with profanity - you should be fine. Cut-offs and tank tops may be a problem, especially for men. I hope...
